They teased it in the first movie, there is a slight teaser in this one, but I just feel like we aren't going to get it. Sorry.

While I like the first one, this one redeems a lot of the screw ups and maintains the excellence of swordplay.

I sympathize, waiting sucks. Just think, you can laugh at me in reverse. You're waiting for this? I'm waiting for a zillion movies from the US to come over here. They usually don't get here until just before the DVD is released in the US.

No worries. Just think, it will only be three to 5 months. And the finale will be only a month behind in release, so the wait won't bee too long there.

I know the feeling well. I think that not watching it with subtitles helped but yea, the aberrations bothered me as well. The second movie stayed much closer to the source material in my opinion than the first. Also, the costuming and sword play is so beautiful that it keeps me coming back for more.

No prob. I am going to see the third as soon as it comes out as well.

No, not pedantic, THANK YOU!!! When watching a movie in your second (not yet fluent) language, trying to decode what is happening in the movie based off an anime/manga you haven't read in nearly ten years (if not longer), and translating all at the same time... names get lost. In the first draft she was 'that Aoishi fangirl whose name I can't remember'. I'll go fix it.

I completely agree but as they have only committed to three movies I don't see it happening. On the other hand, they could see how well they are doing and finish it up with a fourth. At the same time, I feel if they do try and make a fourth, it won't feel as finished as it will with three. If they made it a two movie thing, maybe. The arc does not have enough material for two movies though. I just don't think that it is a good ending. If they messed around with the timing and had put Enishi before Shisho then yea... (though I would have refused to watch it and called it butchery). So, who knows. The future is created by the money we spend, yea? (going to watch it again Wednesday with a Japanese speaking friend XD)

I think it is more not getting it. And, I KNOW! I remember right after we moved and had giant refrigerator boxes, those were a blast!
