Half of this series was completely useless and nonsensical ( side characters ie. Family of the female lead hockey bs and the professor , the other half had so much potential…. What a shame. This series could be PERFECT. I don’t know if i have to blame editing or censorship or both, but finished this drama just to crave more…. 😭
This is a very problematic statement, not everyone reacts to trauma in the same way, not al victims of cheating or abuse can just leave their abusers. It is very easy to say she could have left, well clearly she couldn’t, like MANY other women. She had a trauma. It makes me very sad how society judge women like that this easily. I used to be like that too, but you never know how would react when facing a situation in life in a very toxic codependent relationship. Be kind and be better 💙🫶🏻.

I felt his chemistry definitely in the way he looks at her, he is just sooooo great at acting!!! His expressions are PURE gems!! And she is great too( first drama I watch of her though) but I didn’t get any vibe of her at all. So I didn’t feel any chemistry as them as a couple. It might be the editing or if they took scenes out or censorship, I don’t know! But it didn’t get me. Maybe it will hit me in the next episodes!! I hope! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🫶🏻🫶🏻❤️🔥

@DarkDamsel I really loooove this male lead though and I think he has something really special about the way he looks at her ( he is a great actor!!! And I watch every of his dramas), but I don’t see their chemistry as a couple anywhere 😔, but you are absolutely right, sometimes we cant trust the editing if Chinese dramas because they take WHOLE scenes out and maybe is just censorship…. I see a lot from his side but non from him AT ALL, is like she is hugging a brother as you saying. A lot of potential but I don’t see the romance 🥹 , agreeing with you , slight romance tag would work better in this drama. There’s dramas with not once touch with burning chemistry just with one look, this isn’t it.
