With 5 minutes remaining, I'm going to have to say that "The Tale of Rose" , episode 16, may be the best episode I have viewed in months ... maybe longer. It was so good that I didn't see all the moving parts; writing, acting, score, or anything. About halfway through I was like, "Damn, this is really good". I'm teleworking and when I looked around, all I saw were screensavers. I do remember thinking that the episode was eventful and had a lot going on.
Don't be mad at Ji Won. She's been saying "Abracadabra" since She walked in the door. She said it two different ways. "I want someone I can lean on" and also "I want someone whom I can depend on". Hearing Ji Won say that was music to Yong Woo's ears. Yong Woo has been taking care of His sister since He was in His teens and now She's grown. Good luck to them.

The music fits the drama so well. I'm a fan of both. Although songs play in bits throughout the show, I always listen to the Full OST after the drama ends. "Together" and "Slowly" from LMLMVoice are still my favorites so far this year. Thank you for the music.
Nobody likes being misunderstood. What a great hook! Episode 2 had me getting warm and fuzzy. If we don't have to wait until episode seven or eight for some romance, we may have a winner.
I almost rolled out early during the seven year cheater. I'm in episode 3 and warming up to it. If not for the spunky little Sister, I'd be gone. Looking ahead.
I see no sparks between YW and JW. They have two choices: 1. Leaving together or 2. Both standing alone at the end as the bad guy and girl for getting out of their pairings ... Number one all day long. Contract Temporary Relationship. LOL
They could have easily done this show without a ringer like YW. He's a Player, WITH A JET! ChoA was perfect ... except She wasn't tripping over Her feet to get YW. This nonsense about not getting to know the others is just that. He does not want to date the others. He's trying to distance Himself from Cho A. And in the process, mess up a couple of blossoming relationships. I'm so happy Yoon Jae manned up and got His Girl, Yoon Ha back. I believe Cho A took Her shot with Yoon Jae because He was a solid catch and a little green in love. A nutrituionist and a Restuarant owner would have been perfect if it wasn't for those damn frequent flier miles She was working on.
Ths is a very well written and acted series from what I see and i'm at the end of episode 2. For the most part all the staff characters are developed. The cases rolling through are interesting and have their own back stories. If I had to pick out one thing I don't like it would be all the arguments. No .... bitching. Not the staff but the patients and families of the patients. I guess it's to be expected because the hospital is where the truth comes out. Good medical drama.
Where many dramas wait till the very end to wrap things up and often miss some, Lovely Runner took us on this beautiful, emotional wooden roller coaster ride, wrapped up all the loose ends early, and glided in for a Lovely landing. Perfect!
The scene at the karaoke bar in episode 2 has to be the funniest scene I have seen in a C or K drama. The only thing which could be funnier would be the outtakes. Brilliant.
