Mudan helps him and his people to cover up their business accounts before a search, and JCY gets pardoned due to lack of evidence, and his friendship with the Emperor.
On the romance side, Mudan got a little jealous over his childhood friend Xue Xi, daughter of a powerful general, because Mudan is ashamed of her status as a merchant, and not of noble blood. Xue Xi is also childhood friends with JCY and very close to him. JCY told Mudan he prefers her, a partner to give him a hand.
On revenge side, You Zhen got jealous over her husband Liu Chang always harboring affection for his ex wife Mudan, and by the end of episode 5, she locked Mudan and her workers inside Fang Yuan and is burning it down, trying to kill them all.

LYT is an awesome actress. I liked her as Huang Rong in Legend of Condor Heroes and also in Bloody Romance.
