Props to Leon Zhang, that guy carried a lot of the romance and drama, especially in the end.

Timeline order is: Love in Pavilion, then Red Moon Pact, then Sword and Beloved

LIP: main couple is Wangquan Hongye & Dongfang Huaizhu (generation 1)
RMP: main CP is Dongfang Yuechu & Tushan Honghong (generation 2) - DFYC is nephew to Dongfang Huaizhu
S&B: main CP is Wangquan Fugui & Qingtong (generation 2) - WQFG is son to the main CP in generation 1

Generation 2 main male leads are cousins

Man I really loved Jiuhuo and Jialan's story! And then I love Zhang Zheng/Qingmu Yuan, and Zui/Yitan. A lot of these side couples are super good, thankfully. The guest casts couldn't save Red Moon Pact, but LIP is written/edited much better.

he reminds me of a dark Dongfang Qingcang. Really loved the portrayal and styling of charles lin for Jiuhuo

Sorry it didn't say in the donghua part I watched! After HZ's death, they timeskip to Hongye teaching Fugui how to be a soldier, and Qinlan already had Yuechu.

Anyone knows which episodes of Red Moon Pact have the scenes of Love in Pavilion?

In the donghua, Huai Zhu figures out Jin Ren Feng's plan (he's killed her dad, stole his blood for the fire power with the leech demon's help) and she knows she and Qinlan are next, so she made QL fake an illness, and smuggled QL out. Then before HZ could leave, she had to fight JRF.

if it follows the donghua it happens before they reunite (but July 7th had came and went and he never showed up). So on her end, her family is annhilated by Jin Renfeng and on his end Masked Group dies from fighting Black Fox. To save her from JRF, they marry, but its one of those soulless weddings.

😂 I admit I've frequently rewatched it over the past year, but can still rewatch over and over. Like I might usually skip the miasma cleansing parts but I'll go back now due to your post

I actually dont know, I didn't watch the whole donghua (except the Zhuye arc, which is the one for this drama) and I didn't finish FSMM1 RMP.

I do know the donghua ending for Zui and them, but yeah you probably heard already.

Also, Zui/Yitan didn't have a loveline in the donghua, nor did Qingmu and Zhang Zheng. So the drama is adding side stories, we won't know the ending of.

Wangquan Fugui (ML from Sword and Beloved, son of our main CP) and Dongfang Yue Chu (ML from Red Moon Pact) are cousins of the same generation. Yue Chu's mom is Dongfang Qinlan (Shen Yue).

I have to say, demon king Jiuhuo is very very hot.
