So in episode 22, minute 14:40, Lu Wuyi starts telling the story about how "some people are destined to be separate mountains, distanced by endless plains, a canyon, or a distance they can never cross. They can only watch each other from afar, never to take a step towards each other. What are they waiting for?"

Why does she ask this? Is it to hear Ji Ling's answer? Whats the significance of this scene and the dialogue?

ML looks much younger than her, but his yearning eyes are so good. Also they have chemistry!

Minute 25, when Ji Ling asks Wu Yi "do you know why I trust you so much? Why I am willing to do all you say? Because..." and she cuts him off and we don't hear his answer. What do you think the answer is?

I used to think it was because she is A'Wu, but at this point of the drama he doesn't know she is the doll. So why?

i just started and am overwhelmed by all the characters. Is there another episode people normally jump in and get sucked in the drama? for example, like in The Untamed, its episode 3 (when flashbacks starts).

it was really difficult for me to get into the first watch, but after finishing it I couldn't stop thinking about it. Then I rewatched it, and it makes so much more sense, I finally fell in love with it

!! I had never seen another ML that yearns so much for the FL. Jiang Hansheng beats all the MLs in the drama Lost You Forever.

I went into this for the crime story, came out with some emotional rollercoaster love story. I felt so bad for the ML, FL, and 2ML. Amazing acting. This is the best ending for all 3 but the journey was wild.

When I read this book years ago, I imagined Dylan Wang in the ML role and it's come true!

Like immedately, they marry right away, and slowly fall in love. The ML has always loved her though

Did this sequel actually close out and end the story?
