OH I see you're kind of new to cdramas. Welcome! I watch mostly xianxias, but I'm super picky. I've seen them all but probably dropped a lot. This drama is one of a kind, breaking all the tropes. LBFAD and this one really sets the bar high.

They basically retire, go into seclusion and raise babies...like actually get to LIVE

I have such a problem getting started because of the ML, i find that actor so wooden. It'll be hard coming from LGX/XZ. Is drama story really good?

Yeah I like when the subs are as close to the actual meaning of original language as possible! I can only do eng subs but I understand Chinese, just needed help with some ancient words and such. I'll be sure to watch this, and thanks for your recommendation!
