I mean..the drama is showing a very good job of how big of a deal it is for the last Ancient God to lose control, so I guess HL has his reasons. But yea it no longer matters in the end game, and the divine realm joins in the final battle, if that helps redeem.
Can someone explain why the heavenly rocks are falling and what it’s got to do with his wound?
His body is connected to the Extranatural realm, and his wound from the divine punishment is causing rocks to fall. Thats why everyone is so against him loving, because punishment to his body can cause calamity
I can't for the life of me figure out what the plot for the "scroll" and the "dog" is??? Help me
Yup, they added scenes to the drama since it wasn't in the book. In the book he put here there while he went to fix the rocks, and she escapes the next day. Seems they are using this to exaggerate the situation and intro the remaining characters so the ending won't feel rushed. Maybe the dog is a filler story too
I'm not liking him keeping her captive, though. I understand that he doesn't want to worry about her while he's…
He is traumatized from losing her, and also if she literally gets hurt/dies now while he's super wounded, he won't be able to forgive himself for not protecting her, then the 3 realms might really collapse. In the novel its while he is healing and dealing with the punishment, a couple days, but she does escape anyway. The drama might use this chance for Lady Jin/Mu Zi Chun, and her parents backstory, so it might feel longer.

Not well, maybe they added fillers?? I know they go back to the heavenly realm so maybe that's the scroll. The dog..no idea. Could be related to her parents story, since that is next.
OR the episode is so short today cuz some scenes got the chop.
