Also, there is something so funny to me about the idea that Cha Eunwoo is currently in the military and when he touched base with his family and was like "hey what's new back home" they said "Oh not much...btw you're being investigated for MAJOR tax evasion, but other than that we're all good here"🤣

I've recently discovered that people on here don't always know what they are on about when it comes to rating shows. While I do agree with at least 75% of the ratings on here, over time I've realised that some shows should objectively be rated either a lot lower or a lot higher. E.g. my favourite show from this year, Moon River, is an underrated gem while Undercover Highschool is not bad but definitely overrated. These 2 examples are just my opinion but I think it's an objective fact that you'll miss out on a lot of shows you might personally adore or give some shows more of a chance than they deserved just because you relied too heavily on the ratings like I used to✌️😁

I did a quick search, and it looks like the manhwa has a romance tag, so howcome the drama doesn't? Is this a Judge from Hell situation where like halfway through it airing MDL will add the romance tag?

I was only pointing it out because I recently found out that there have been kdrama remakes of american films so i didn't know if you actually thought this is a remake or just shared a similar premise

I can see what you mean but I think in this show the leads are actually both blood relatives of the orphan in question. So like she could be his dad's sister and he could be the mum's brother and that's how they ended up with custody, they are his actual next of kin, not his legal god parents.

Strong agree, like Welcome to Samdal-ri is that type of ensemble drama which pinterest users like calling "no villain, just life" (Think Twenty-five Twenty-one or When Life Gives You Tangerines) which I usually avoid like the plague because I find them depressing but I absolutely loved that show and now I can kind of see why that genre is always rated so highly.

From what I have gathered, they are more colleagues than friends. He can't really stand her because she is a former bully who just pretends to be nice. On the other hand, she has a crush on him and thinks he belongs to her simply because he tolerates her and has been single forever.

I agree with the first reply. While I personally find his acting non-remarkable but still very much believable, I have genuinely never seen anything but slander online regarding Cha Eunwoo as an actor. I had to try my hardest to not view him in a negative light when I finally watched him in True Beauty simply because I have been so primed to hate his acting. In the end I walked away with some criticism against the character, but not really the actor since my immersion was never broken. The point is people (who I have reason to believe are women) do slander pretty boy idol actors who they personally believe can't act ALL THE TIME (he's not an idol but Kim Youngdae also has that look but gets dragged constantly too)

There was an MDL article that said that Cho Jun-young had officially joined the cast for Spring Fever and when I've previously checked the cast he was here so why has he been removed from the MDL cast section for Spring Fever?

If we know Cho Jun Young will be in the cast why isn't he on the official cast for Spring Fever on the drama's MDL profile?

I'm so looking forward to watching this the same way i watched Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale, just turn off my brain and enjoy the comedy and pretty people. This Kdrama will absolutely stun me if it does anything complex with the plot but even if it doesn't, I think I'll enjoy it as a fluff show.

I haven't even started this show yet (I'm still trying to decide whether to watch it) but just seeing the spoiler images and reading the plot made me think of brewing love so the fact that you said it's even better makes me hopeful. (TBH I dropped brewing love after episode 8, at first because I could not find the remaining 4 episodes with subtitles and then because I realized that once I look passed my love for the lead actors, brewing love lacked substance as a show and was simply inoffensive but not necessarily good. there was nothing special about it plot wise and it was not funny enough to get by on comedy alone)

I really love Bae In-hyuk, I'm glad he's been getting so many lead roles in the last few years🥳. I've only seen this actress once before in Dear.M but she was good in that and she's starring in a lot of things I have on my watchlist so I guess I'll be seeing a lot of her.
