A bromance is two guys who are BFFs; there is literally no "romance" in "bromance." You know how some people have a "work husband/wife"? They are not literally married, nor are they romantic partners. (See, Merriam-Webster dictionary's definition: "[bromance]...a close nonsexual friendship between men...".)
