Yeah, Lada is more close to the mother and counts her as one of the most important person alongside Earn. She literally ran off to England because they were forcing her to marry Visanu. She probably would take a longer time to come back to Thailand had it not been for Earn. I also look down on any parent who sees the other parent manipulating and causing their child distress and does nothing about it besides making soft complaints. True. In the novel, Lada and her mother are "close". I say this because her mother is truly disturbing. She likes to keep an eye on her and is always asking her where she is, when is she coming home,etc. Lada on her end looks up to her mother and sees this as love and care. However, her mother uses this as a form manipulation to get her to do what she wants. I can understand Earn and I'm rooting for her. Their love isn't going anywhere but up.

Ugh, you're going to bring out the waterworks. The proposal was scene was so them and I love how it was done and how Anueng responded. All they wanted to do was just love each other. Gonna take me some time to rewatch because I cried heavily, especially when it transitioned from the older version of Nueng spinning Anueng around back to the present version. That part really got my tears going. I rarely cry but this series really opened up my tear ducts.
