I'm not sure if the author did this on purpose because, in the novel, they were explaining the importance of communication and how all of it could've been avoided. Honestly, communication is important for me but these things do happen in real life. I'm just excited to see how it plays out.

Ugh, you're going to bring out the waterworks. The proposal was scene was so them and I love how it was done and how Anueng responded. All they wanted to do was just love each other. Gonna take me some time to rewatch because I cried heavily, especially when it transitioned from the older version of Nueng spinning Anueng around back to the present version. That part really got my tears going. I rarely cry but this series really opened up my tear ducts.
I can't. I can't. I'm literally bawling right now. I couldn't stop the tears and my cheeks hurt. This was a beautiful way to end it. I will never forget this masterpiece. This wonderful gem. I'm already struggling through part 1. This family is really cut from a special cloth. Because what the fuck do you mean that Nueng is all to blame for everything and how you guys treated Anueng has nothing to do with it. I would've slapped that old lady back so hard, Anueng would wake up. I'm glad Nueng gave them a read but it's not gonna be fully effective if they don't see themselves as the bad guy.

Yeah, in the context of the show it was a no-brainer. Plus, Lada's serpent mother also messed with her head about Visanu and then she started remembering when Lada would avoid the topic. When things are just being piled on you like that, it takes a lot to keep your mind in check. The serpent lady also knows that betrayal is a big no for Lada. Mom of the year this one.
In the novel, Earn doesn't say anything because she believes the adults know best and doesn't want Lada to think of her family in a bad way and the mother also tells her to make something up for why she's breaking up with her.

I just finished crying because of the end. I'm gonna start with the sad part first:
I'm not okay. The break up scene fucked me up. I knew it was coming and still wasn't ready. Did they really have to act it out like that? The way Lada reached for the suitcase before Earn told her about the break up. Lada begging her to stay and literally fighting for her to stay. The way how they were bawling. Lada crawling on the floor. Earn losing it outside. It was too much for me. Excellent. Just Excellent.
Now, I'm still not healed from this but. Oh lord. Phuthares (Lada's dad) legit has no problem with his daughter liking women and is operating like a parent should. As he said, he doesn't own her. He will have my respect for that. Now, his serpent wife heard all this and is acting like she owns Lada talking bout she already has her future husband planned out. Literally bypassing what her husband said. I'm so pissed because what kind of FUCKED up person would you have to be to use someone's sick parent as leverage to end a relationship you have no business in meddling in. Lada is a grown ass woman and this lady needs to find something better to do with her time rather than stalking her daughter. Imagine masterminding your daughter's heartbreak and telling yourself it was so that she could marry a man she could care less about and have children so you can feel better about yourself and die in peace??? Is this bitch serious? I wanted to fight her so bad. Also fuck Wisanu.
The good part:
This was an excellent start of a first episode. I loved how they met and everything that followed after that. I'm in love with both of their personality and they work so well together. Earn is just energetic and Lada is like a cool breeze. I seriously cannot with Earn sometimes. She's so extra and funny and I love Lada hurmoring her. I'm in love with their relationship and how in tune and comfortable they are with each other. It was so smooth and natural. Lada is an angel doctor but my girl is also smooth. I like how they flirted. I also love Lada's personality. She's just happy to have Earn in her life and just spoils her extra girlfriend. I'm also glad they kept the "naughty girl" in.
The valentines day scene has my heart. I loved every second. The birthday scene was so wholesome. They way I shouted "NO" when I realized the desert Lada made her had banana and wanted to bop Earn on the head for going through with it.
I'm going to need a break from Ling's english as it's making me feel things. I'm already obsessed with this series and I can't wait until the next episode. They changed up lots from the novel. I hope there isn't any arranged marriage.
Imma need Ingfa and Ratee to back the hell up because they are barking up the wrong trees. Still love them though.
