There's something weird with Thai shows that no one is addressing but you [and thank you for that]. The population…
My point exactly. ITSAY it`s a kind of ( kind of ) an attempt to change it a little bit, although I didn't see yet the sequel that takes place in Bangkok in the university. I went there in a south Asian travel and there`s ton`s of beautiful people with features of their own ethnicity, I found them really attractive of course is not a generalization. And i saw movies with this represented and I was amazed, an example is the tragic but beautiful BL "Bangkok love Story".
I saw this movie long ago and I loved it, very much, the inner dialogues, the visual poetry, the tender gestures, I would love to see it again in good quality.
I hated and felt disgusted with Secret Love Affair that much that I couldn't overcome it and I dropped it, I don't care whatever says about it, does not make any good to the women fight to portray the mature woman as young flesh predators no matter how sugarcoated and well-executed it is. I´ll no see this anymore.-
Wow you made it sound like the actor for Jin is so ugly. Harsh. He's cute!
Look, I saw quite of your comments here and I love your style, I think the same as you about the kiss that everyone here is making such an idiotic big of a deal, as for not finding an attractive or good actor that Jin dude, I have a range, girl, I see the best acting then I see the worst acting and all the dots in between, and, in my opinion, he is not attractive at all and his acting ( part of of it is because of lack of good direction) is terrible, I´ve seen worse of course. But I've seen boys in BL productions that are not selected from this white minority like western style, ( a racist stupid thing because when you are there those are not the common denominator) composing beautiful characters that I find them cute, hot, adorable, and so on. One thing and another goes hand in hand.

Not for me, and he sucks in acting so all the atractivenes that a character must have is gone here, even i youre not an adonis you can act like one and ill find u atractive, not the case
The only reason that this full of clichés sort of drama has to exist is that Gorgeous stud Bbob, so beautiful!!! His IG is Fire. I don´t get why that dude Jin is found attractive in some way. I hope to see Bbob in another drama with a few lessons more of acting and with an attractive partner.-
I guess you have a point, FOR AMERICAN products, as a european myself, I try to see with cultural respect every kind of product in different cultures, I can´t allow myself to dissect other culture entertainment products from my point of view but in their own culture and how it resonates within that because if not everything would be cancellable, I don't know my grandma sees Turkish soap operas that my cultural background considers unacceptable because of the male behaviour and all that jazz. So, ¿I have to limit and adjust myself to see just the ones which adjust to my progressive vision of how relations must be portrayed? Not at all, because I don't believe that there´s a unique path. Said that I love the concept of agency in the way you develop here but if applied to man, if the nice guy or not acting as SL is in love and every action has the agency to gain the girl I really dislike the SL and I don't get why much people root for them, because an example is the character of Yook Sung Jae in WAY S2015 his actions had an agency, be liked back for the girl, but his actions were far more from that point, he didn't want his ultimate goal was that but make her feel better "like she was and not as someone else" and that is a missing opportunity for dramaland because he wasn't someone petty in his agency for the woman he likes. In the TB case, the agency behind all the actions of the SL was to gain the trophy, the girl but the uproar was huge when that didn't happen.
