ep 10 was the fluffiest and the cutest episode ever! HyunSeung as a character is so amazing but it's rowoon I want to gush about today! He's so so so good as HyunSeung it's crazy.
The way he can convey with just his eyes is INSANE, given he's not that experienced in Acting and is originally an idol! He's really the star of the show(this is not to take away the credit from other actors, everyone is really good tbh!)
Can we talk about his comedic timing?? And how it's not awkward and perfectly fits in w the scenes! He takes it a notch high when it comes to emotionally heavy scenes, his eyes are really beautiful and carries so much emotions gah he's really so good I'm just so proud of him!

Absolutely. It feels way too rushed. I mean we havent seen them having conversations. Maybe HS and SA has set…
Oh haha right, HyunSeung and SongAh had to pull an all-nighter for the packaging
I absolutely forgot it was for the lipstick. Yeah like jaewoon did nothing ?? he just ordered his employees to do his work for him, It's definitely not as swoony as people claiming it to be lol. Jiseung Actually deserves so much better, no hate to jaewoon but I just really can't warm up to his character!

I saw so many comments saying he went out of his way to get her a reproduced lipstick aw he loves her so much but honestly he did nothing?? Like it was songah and others who worked on the lipstick lmao(on top of so many other things SongAh had to work on, this was an added job she had to do) and the way he pursued her initially didn't sit right w me, it's crazy people were so quick to judge HS for the club scene but saw no issues with the way he went after jiseung lol they even called it cute. Also I like jiseung's character way more than Jaewoon's and I really really don't see her w him. She's capable and is successfully running her mom's business all by herself while he's where he is mostly because of jaeshin's hardwork! She's actually too good for him.

As much as I love swnk, I might be the only one not heavily invested in jiseung and jaewoon loveline! Haha it feels very rushed to me and there was literally no development to whatever happened in ep 9. I love the couple together but just not satisfied with the way it was handled! Yeonseung's story on the other hand, is actually exciting. No I'm not talking about the chef and her husband, I'm talking about yeonseung only. She's going through a huge change atm and even she can feel it, so excited to see how her story unfolds!

I think ep 9 was the first episode that was from Songah's perspective, so far we've been watching the drama untold mostly from HyunSeung's perspective and it's a great change to shift away from him to SongAh and take a look into her conflicted feelings and struggles. I love SongAh as a character, she looks meek and submissive because she's soft spoken and reserved but she is actually very strong and sure of herself. As knets call it, swnk is an ending restaurant! All the ending scenes are so great to watch but ep 9 is perhaps my sevond favourite after ep 3's ending!
First of all, SongAh went to see HyunSeung after that painful confrontation w her mom cause it's clear to her that he's her solace, she needed the comfort and HyunSeung gave it to her without much prodding, that hug worked like magic and SongAh let out all of emotions in one go! It was at that moment, she became completely sure of her feelings for him, and didn't waste any time telling him that she likes him too! It was a beautiful moment considering it took one simple yet heavily meaningful hug from HyunSeung that rid SongAh of all her doubts regarding her budding feelings for him! [Rowoon's hugs Actually look so warm, I want one too haha]
Second favourite part is it was the same place(Infront of HyunSeung's house) in ep 2 where HyunSeung suggested the fake dating idea(which ACTUALLY never happened tbh) and now in ep 9, by starting their real relationship, they (and us viewers) have come full circle, I love everything about this!

Can't wait for ep 10!

Thank god for talking my mind. Now that HyunSeung is out of the radar of being seen as creepy, obssesive and what…
Pls this is exactly what I was thinking and seeing since last couple of episodes. Now that they can't pick on HyunSeung cause he has totally redeemed himself, they are starting to pick on SongAh, it's getting hilarious at this point! People must really hate dramas that shows the brutal reality of life!

I CANNOT BELIEVE SOME OF YOU ARE BLAMING SONGAH FOR NOT FALLING IN LOVE WITH HYUNSEUNG RIGHT AFTER FINDING OUT THE MAN SHE HOPED TO MARRY AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER IS CHEATING ON HER?!? Yes she told HS to not give up on her. Why? Because she's starting to feel sure of her feelings now, slowly but she's getting it that he's really the best man for her and being around him gave her so much joy that she can't bear to act all estranged from him! I was so so so proud of her when she told him that she doesn't want to rush things and just accept his feelings just because she's single rn because she isn't sure of her feelings and donot want to hurt him in the end! It showed her matured side and that she genuinely cares for and loves HyunSeung as her hoobae! Her giving herself time to realise her feelings (1. She was completely in love with jaeshin before. 2. Never looked at Any other men, even the seemingly PERFECT hoobae because she was that loyal) is what people need to do in real life so that so many failed relationship wouldn't end up like they do just because two people rush things without sorting their feelings out!

Swnk subverted the general fake dating trope, even tho HS suggested it, they never fake dated tbh. SA made sure she was always honest with him and it was always in his best interest! By telling him not to give up on her, she's again being honest w him because she's starting to see herself falling for him and doesn't want to let that go!

Ep 8 is so amazing, definitely one of the best episodes so far! SA is slowly opening her heart to HS and is beginning to realise what a keeper he is! I don't have any comments on HS's ex lmao she was that insignificant but her appearance helped SA finally see HS's vulnerable side and she was finally able to relate to him, without feeling pathetic about herself and her situation! HS's honest conversation with her is more heart fluttering than the usual cheesy lines they give him haha. Him telling her that he'll be finally giving up because it's starting to feel like he's being greedy was more like a confession he made to himself, and a sign of his development (again!)
This also helped SA see how having HS around her gave her so much joy that she's been taking for granted so far! This was the first episode we see SA end the episode instead of HS and I loved every bit of it! More of this please! Can't wait for the next episode!!!
Also Rowoon gahh this boy is doing wonders. His comedic timing is amazing and he's superbly great at emotionally heavy scenes! So so so proud of him.

Ep 7 is probably my favourite episode so far! SongAh's rejection of HyunSeung's proposal felt real and gosh everything she said about how people feel when they like someone felt so relatable! I love Gayoung haha and it's totally clear that she's team HyunSeung!
The scene where they ran together for no reason was so cute cause both of them genuinely enjoyed the time spent with each other and their first genuine smiles since that night came out!
The highlight for me in this episode was the conversation HyunSeung and SongAh had when he dropped her home where HyunSeung held himself accountable for his past actions and apologized for unintentionally making SongAh uncomfortable. That conversation felt so real, both the actors did such an amazing job! It also showed HyunSeung's immense character growth. Absolutely in love with this "flawed yet learns from his mistakes" character! Rowoon is so so so good at bringing HyunSeung's character to life, he's really one of the best actors I've ever watched!

So excited for the next episode!

I watched first 2 episodes only. the main lead character was creepy tbh.
You'll understand his behaviour the more you watch to be honest! He's not creepy at all.

I’m not into this possible love triangle that I’m hearing about -_____- but can someone tell me if this show…
The first two episodes will be a hard watch but if you like watching characters develop then you're in for a very pleasant ride! There's no love triangle tbh. The characters feel real and while the plot isn't too notch or anything new, the actors make up for it. Look out for SF9 Rowoon the most, he's literally hard carrying the drama imo!

Well I agree w you but since this is a romance drama we can't really expect them to tackle social problems now haha. It was a nice discussion with you. Have a nice day.

Testing an employee's alcohol tolerance level to try and break them in is actually a thing in korean workplace culture. That's why it's been heavily used in numerous kdramas since the beginning. It's kinda messed up I agree but it happens so :(

Please he reflected on his on his actions and apologized to her twice sincerely and gave her space when she asked for it! never interfered in her decisions cause he knows she's her own person and can decide on her own. Is always looking out for her and told her he'll always support whatever decision she makes. What more do these people need?? I'm really tired cause it seems like people Just won't give him or the actor a chance and it sucks cause Rowoon is doing such an amazing job!

Thank you for saying this! I really don't understand this prejudice against HyunSeung. most people just seem so determined to hate him like they nitpick at everything he does and donot bat an eye when someone else does it ( Jaewoon's antics around jiseung who he doesn't know at all is vvv cute but HyunSeung's behaviour around SongAh who he worked with for so long is creepy? Wow double standards much??)and it sucks cause this drama is actually getting better with each episode but for comments like this, the fun is ruined!

Like just say you love to hate on male leads no matter what they do and go?!?

If you're talking about ep 6, he was literally drunk??! And most characters in kdramas act cute when they are drunk lmao(it's vvv used Kdrama trope) I don't get this prejudice against cute adults(or HyunSeung in general tbh)?? And no it doesn't make them creepy at all.
