I'm watching this now (middle of ep 6) and the FL's screaming is making me insane. But I just got this great idea after reading your review. I can mute the tv whenever she's on screen. It's not as if I need to hear her since I rely on subtitles.
This definitely isn't one I can binge watch; I'm too sensitive. Whew! How could teenagers stomp on a little boy like that? ! And why?
I just got through the third episode and I'm still questioning this teacher's motive. Is her aim to prepare them for the future, toughen them up and teach them how to deal with adversity? -OR- Is she genuinely beating them down into submission and conformity?
Is the school administration aware and in favor of how she conducts her class?
And I don't understand these parents at all. Actually, I can't recall a K-drama that showed open and free communication between parents and school aged children.
I'm half way through episode 12 and my thoughts became flooded with the low reviews and harsh criticisms. Although I'm annoyed with what I'm viewing right now, I cannot chime in and agree with the critiques I recall. Meaning, there's no way I can place blame on ANY of the actors. However, I'm finding fault with the regression of all three of our main characters.
First one: You'd think the handsome antagonist would ease up a little on his vengeance after his backer/client murdered his opposing attorney. How could Alex Hong be part of such an operation when he believes he's in love with a person who has values like Soo In?
2: These dramas don't fail to disappoint me in the manner where they too often (the majority of them) disappoint me. This wonderful female character, Soo In, like in too many K-dramas, how could they turn her into an idiot? Oh I get it, just because she's a brilliant Harvard Med School grad, she wasn't raised in Korean society. She doesn't realize how -- no, it's not even that. She had no business approaching Hyun Woo's father period. How could that make Hyun Woo look better in his father's eyes? And how could Hyun Woo ever feel confident that she trusts and believes in him? How could he trust her?
This last one made me almost scream. Instead, I paused the video and came on here to rant. No matter how anxious Hyun Woo is, how big a heart he has for his clients/witnesses, why couldn't it cross his mind that he was walking into a trap? He knows what he's done is not legal no matter how he tries to justify it. And he's already been "warned" by his opposition.
Most definitely I'll continue watching. Perhaps after a little break. I have to see the trio come together and take down the big baddy. Hopefully, neither Alex nor Soo In dies. I just need to remind myself that every serial isn't bingeable.
watched mainly b/c of Liu Hao Ran but honestly a bit confused... plot wise.... cute at times, creepy (as in scary)…
I'm watching it right now via PRIME and with only 20 minutes remaining of the movie, I don't believe I've seen more than five characters: The painter, his girlfriend, the twin(s), her aunt and a doctor. Feeling the same as you've written here, so I came to read remarks.
Also, with only 20 minutes remaining, [lol] I'm forcing myself to complete it. Yet I'm glad I did! [spoiler below] . . . . . . "Whoever he chooses is the one who lives"! . . . . Crazy conjoined twins! :-0
You really think Arthur could just be pushed off considering who his dad is??Also legend of awakening will do…
Until I watched the first season, I was not familiar with ANY of the cast. Yet, I enjoyed it so much I became immediately anxious to watch the story's continuation -- season two. However, I can't help but feel disappointed that the star, the lead, has changed.
Although it's the same story, it won't be. It can't. The look, the sound and the feel will be different. Hopefully, this new actor will be as charismatic and can replicate or even improve the onscreen chemistry with the everyone. [fingers crossed]
Just watched a trailer and a couple clips on Youtube (not subbed) and it's looking like all of the cast from season one have returned; so why not the star?
I'm watching 'Original Sin' and his character shows up in episode four as the accomplice to the serial murderer.
Yes, I had one of those long moments of "where have I seen this actor before?" and could no longer focus on the drama because I had to find out who he is and which show it was where he left such a favorable impression.
Now I'm patting myself on the back because I've found the right actor. It wasn't easy. 'Original Sin' isn't listed in his filmography on at least four different sites. And the photo here doesn't quite look like his character in 'Ever Night.' He needs to be credited with at least a "guest appearance." This murder mystery right now is a big deal (at least through episode 4). ????
How can an actor star in four different series that average 45 episodes per in one year? • The Wolf • Mirror Twin Cities • Douluo Continent • The Oath of Love
It seems physically impossible. What am I not considering?
I really wish there were more of him in 'Joy of Life.' That little part has me looking up his filmography. Stand out performance leaving his adult counterpart with a tough act to follow.
This series would be so much better if Ah Ro was a minor supporting character like the girl who's the sister to Minho's character and more emphasis and screen time were given to the men of Hwarang. Each time she's on screen, I feel my eyes rolling and mood changing. I've fast forwarded through her scenes a few times and other times suffered through them for fear I might miss something significant [yeah, I'm laughing at that myself].
I'm currently watching 'Nivana In Fire 2.' He playing a co-conspirator in creating and spreading a plague. I think he first appeared in episode 19, maybe 20, at least that's when i first noticed him. I knew I've seen him something but he's not credited in that series so i couldn't get his name. Where do you begin to look? A few days and a couple episodes later (just now) I recalled 'Rise of the Phoenixes.' Didn't like that character either.
Just finished ep03. This clumsy little feisty girl is awesome. I love her. Conversely, however, the clingy guilt slinging overbearing little sister annoys the crap out of me.
The most wonderful thing about people to me is our uniqueness. How siblings created by the same two individuals can be so vastly different including their blood type.
Therefore, we are all not going to enjoy the same drama in the same manner. This app was placed here so that we could express our varied opinions and reactions. How dull would the world be if everyone were the same. So we should accept, respect and appreciate our differences.
It's fair for one to express his opinion and not be willing to debate or read others' whose differ. Since "block" is an option, it's rightful for him to use it. But to use it after calling others "stupid pricks" is downright disrespectful and immature especially when nothing written in response to his opinion was offensive. ???? @helldraco
It's also silly to waste one's time on a drama predetermined to be a waste. Time in a day is limited; so is life. Spend it on things that are necessary and enjoyable.

'Black' &
'Haechi'
Can she be blamed for playing annoying characters?
Also, with only 20 minutes remaining, [lol] I'm forcing myself to complete it. Yet I'm glad I did!

Where is it completely subbed, what site?
