This is street dance -- dance battle.
It's not about dance technique. It's all about WOW factor. Dope moves. Fierce presence. Example: A dancer goes all out. The challenger says, that's all you got? Watch this! The Judges go WHOA! OOOOH! Oww! Jump out their seats. That's how they're being judged.

When dance battles break out in the club, the one who gets the loudest cheers, most hands raised or dollars thrown is the winner.

All three judges have been dancing, staging shows, and working with choreographers for a long time. Taeyong debuted over five years ago as l̶e̶a̶d̶ *main dancer. Prior to that, he was in training for years and performed as SM Rookies for a while too. He's from SM. He's worked with top notch choreographers in both Korea and Japan (and I'd bet from the U.S. too). He's seen dance battles.

Amazing how "expectation" influences the experience. Because mine was opposite of yours.

The preview showed a lot of drama and what looked to me like women out of strip clubs: Twerking, propping boobs up, on their backs with legs wide open, and one twirling her pony tail for half a song. Then I read the title again and saw a different inference, 'STREET WOMAN Fighter.' 😮

I thought it was supposed to be dance battles. I love dance battles. Would push my friends who are wayy better dancers than I into them all the time. So when I first heard about the series, I was looking forward to it. However, that preview turned me off and I thought I'd pass.

Glad I didn't (pass). The first episode turned out immensely better than I anticipated. And though there are "dancers" who appear to be from strip clubs, there are awesome dancers, true battlers, participating as well. I can't wait for the next episode.

Does anyone what's missing in the 41 episode series? Would have watched the 44 but couldn't find translated captions.

I'm curious which one. Because up to episode 23, there have been three, each annoying in their distinct way: wRong Sister, Machine Gun Medic and Fake Fiancée. Although each also has a meritorious attribute, Fiancée has the least value.

The Xu Sisters were annoying but in a different way. Glad reality permeated Elder Sister's prejudices and the younger is fighting past her trauma and coming through.

Surprisingly, The Cave Dwellers and Younger wRong Brother are still living.

Yes! I'm at the beginning of episode two and am not laughing. I'm scratching my head and looking here to find what this is about and decide if I want to continue. Amazon Prime has given it a 18+ rating. And it has good reviews but nothing about the plot other than what's in the description. So I began to wonder if this is a Chinese Grimm-like fairytale. Is it a horror story? It has to be a horror story to receive that kind of rating.

What an idiot! I'm at the beginning of episode eight and have not yet identified anything about Zhang Si Peng that merits all the characters in this story regarding him as "exceptional." And he's sinking further and further into the swamp.

How has a lawyer never encountered any schemers and wrongdoers? How does he never suspect anything when his girlfriend is investigating the company that hired him out of the blue?

The other thing, when he first noticed he was becoming attracted to Anna + the illegal schemes he's become involved in, he should have come clean and/or ended his relationship with Lin. Why become indebted to this scammer?

Those chopped scenes/ song transitions, I thought they were placeholders for the televised commercial breaks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Isn't that also why that brief mono- or dialogue is repeated?
