It's very weird for me to see that some people cannot accept that two consenting adults can have any relationship they wish, as long as it's not illegal. Frankly, other ppl relationships are not your business so I don't get your quite emotional comment about some random drama.

But the ending of ep. 5 annoyed me a lot, "Japanese people are not capable of that" Ali says about them executing his family lol
I don't know, maybe he was talking about some fictional Japan but the real one commited a lot of atrocities thorought their history, so I think they should be much more self-aware and self-critical instead of trying to play pure and perfect society lol

I'm at episode 5 and this drama doesn't make much (any) sense but it's very entertaining and the characters are interesting

I really want to watch it but the comments praising the villain and saying that he can do whatever he wants bc he's hot make me doubt humanity (even more) lol
So I'm afraid I'm going to be so pissed off watching it, I know it's a fiction but still 😆

Tbh I kind of agree with you, they would NOT dare to do this to other religions because there would be a strong backlash. I don't mean this series but Koreans' behaviour in general. Eg. Kpop idols often wear Catholic priests outfits at fans meetings or wear cross as accessory. Can you imaging doing that to symbols of other religions apart from Christianity? Lol because I don't. If they did that they would be forced to apologize.

He's neither. He's in a grey area. Not many things in life is black or white, most has different shade of grey. That's why characters like Dongjae are interesting, people relate to them in different ways.

Well, it's called Dr. Romantic and romance is listed as a main genre, I usually avoid such dramas bc for me it means that the main focus is on the romance part. But maybe one day I will check it out. I just find this deal with male/female leads, second leads etc annoying. Just make a couple of main characters like in Moving and that's it. There isn't ml/fl here bc many characters have main roles. Also, the thing that ml and fl always end up together is the worst thing for me, that's why I never watch romance dramas.

I see, I don't really watch a lot of dramas where one of the main genres is romance so I don't know this one.

Ah yes, stranger too, you're right, I watched them both. And since Dongjae is my fav character I will watch spin-off too.

I really liked it.

I hope season 2 will be about the guy who can stop time, definitely one of the coolest abilities.
I'm just worried because Koreans don't really know how to make a good sequel (except for Kingdom and few others) so they may mess it up.

Actually at the 3rd episode I started to like the two kids so it's getting better for me too.

Haha, to be honest, after reading comments here I started to watch it, I'm on the 2nd episode and I'm a bit bored, I also don't really care about any of the characters yet. Should we continue to, let's say, episode 6 or 7 to decide if it's worth it? 😀

I don't like gore but I will watch it, maybe it won't be that bad.
