Most of IQiyi's big dramas are still in post-production. 😭 For me, so far, WeTv took the Nbr 1 spot this year. Youku is slowing down because they were losing too much. They are even cutting off the nbrs of episode for their dramas.

I was questioning his character until the name Shen Run was mentioned when old Madame Xie explained YR’s background. That’s when I remembered that Xu Kai also plays Shen Run and made the connection.

I don’t think people outside of the capital know that Shen Run and Yan Rui are the same person 😅. He’s clearly undercover. He even said he has tons of petitions filed against him sent to the Emperor, but the Emperor doesn’t seem to care and barely hands out any punishment. Old Madame Xie mentioned that Shen Run "exposed or reported" YR as a corrupt official 😂😂. He basically wrote a petition against himself and was sent to the city (where they currently are) as a punishment.

It’s clearly an excuse to leave the capital and investigate on the Emperor's orders, likely because Yan Rui is just a cover. He’s acting like that to lure out corrupt officials and their families showing off his money and not being afraid to gamble. He even agreed to cover up the murder of the Xie estate manager by falsifying the investigation. Definitely a cover

Youku seems to have a deal with Netflix cause a lot of their recent drama are on Netflix . So I think if it’s not a Youku drama the chance are even lower to find it on Netflix. Some of IQiyi dramas are on Netflix but not their own original production . WeTv I don’t know much , I just know POJ is on Netflix but again it’s was share on both platforms WeTV and IQiYi
