If anything, he was too lenient with Yuan Qi.Yuan Qi committed serious offenses that, in that time period, could’ve easily gotten him executed or thrown in prison. Instead, Zhu Zhanji kept protecting him because of their l history and . He chose other punishments like whipping, hoping he would learn and change. Even ZZJ’s other Eunuch knew and warn him that YQ was a to face snake. when someone is already that deep into corruption it’s hard to change.Even when he became suspicious and later found out about the poisoning plot, he still gave Yuan Qi chances to come clean. Yuan Qi did hesitate but still choose not too . When they were investigating all the eunuchs involved, he gave him many subtle warning and chance to come clean . I”ve seen people rating all the episodes of some drama that barely just started airing. ( like 4 episodes out but they already have full reviews and ratings for 40 episodes, make it make sense 🤦🏾♀️) majority of the ratings are fake. I agree with the first comment. The children shouldn’t have been separated it was really frustrating to watch. I understand that financial stability is important when raising kids, but emotional stability matters just as much. Their relationships, especially the bond between siblings, are a huge part of their well-being. Separating them could have been very traumatic.
If the mother wasn’t financially stable enough at the time, a better option might have been to grant temporary full custody of all three of them to the father and grandmother until mom was in a better position. She could still see the kids while working on her financial situation.They could have gone back to court later to adjust the arrangement. She even said her own mom was willing to help .Anything better than separating the kids. They didn’t consider much they kids mental well-being .
