Why does Youku seem to be reducing the amount of episode of their drama 🤔. Those who were filmed some time ago seem to be the usual amount of episodes but the newest are getting shorter. like , 24/28/29 even shorter than that sometimes.

Don’t take MDL ratings too seriously 😅. It’s has no real impact . we just watch for ourselves to see if we like it or not. There’s so many drama that I absolutely love but the ratings is awful ðŸ˜. I would have missed those gem if I didn’t watch for myself . On the opposite side, there’s some drama with high ratings that I watched but for me was not worth the hype or like didn’t Stand out to me.
I don't think they are saying that Zhan Zhao is a Ding. Zhang Yue Shi (ZYX) is playing the Ding sister. From what was said in an earlier episode, Zhan Zhao is allegedly engaged to Ding Yueha. It's not clear yet if he's really the Ding son-in-law or the future one.

She was partially veiled, and maybe he didn't recognize her because that was the last place he would expect her to be. Something can be right in front of your eyes, and still your brain doesn't recognize it because that's not its usual place. Like the last things you expected. Only logic explains what I could find for Dramaland lol.

it’s 6 usually ( two regular and 4 express for premium VIP) 5 is only when WeTv and IQiYi are both airing the drama or when it’s a co-production . However this time I was quite surprised too . I didn’t expect them to drop all 7 episodes. Since they dropped the first six episodes , it’s should’ve been the last 6 together but they decided to add one more.

I find it funny too. I don’t mind it either. I loved seeing the older generation from Blood of Youth in Dashing Youth as the youngest. Learning about their stories. Between Dashing Youth and Blood River, it’s 3 years, I believe. So logically speaking, it should be 15–20 years between Dashing Youth and Blood of Youth, but then the timeline has some plot holes in it, so it doesn’t really make sense, but I just like to imagine it’s just 20 years later 😂.

Also between The beginning of dashing youth and th end of it there’s a significant amount of time that has past. Probably a decade or so. Logically the characters should have age up. However since The Blood of youth came out first , some stuff are bound to be inconsistent.

They know but still watch and come complain again. If directors are picking him for lead role in romance drama where’s the issue. I find it funny because there’s another actor out there who also seems to have a non kissing disclosure in their contract and still does romance drama but that actor get praised for that. Double standards very much .
