BOOHOOO!!! You all complain about this.. about that... but you still watched it ?I genuinely enjoyed it.. I never…
Dude, we liked the series, we're allowed to be disappointed with how it ended. This is how being a fan works, we don't just blindly fawn all over everything because it's part of the thing we like.
Being critical of the things we like is fine and normal. People not enjoying something you do does not take away from your enjoyment of it and if it does then you are too heavily influenced by others and you need to learn to focus less on what other people think.
Oh I agree 100000% the book had so much to give. They should have kept stuff instead of deleting them or moving…
I personally wouldn't even mind if they had kept the bed scene, they could easily make it something that both boys are into (see MDZS and the kinky af yet consensual stuff in it), plus that would open up a whole new element to a BL, kink being talked about openly between a couple. Imagine that happening, I can only dream.
Let us not even talk about being deprived of the dang car scene, like what the hell, it's just such a shame that they watered down such a spicy and complex story into what we saw in the show.

Honestly. People complain about the stuff Wat does to Tine in the book/books and I get it, but like, this isn't a story that can be made into a pg-13 show and not feel stunted and weird. I'd rather they rate it 18+ and let the actual story unfold, but we all know that GMMTV would never). Though that also depends on the actors being comfortable with that and just going by the way Bright and Win act I don't think they would have been okay doing a show with that much skinship.
I'll say this, and it will be unpopular as hell with the purity culture folks, but if they had stuck more with the story from the book then the show would have been better. Mixing up the story lines and changing characters around did them no favors.
"How can people enjoy something I don't like and find problematic?!?!" Dude, people enjoy gruesome horror movies…
I actually wouldn't even say the things you name as problematic are imperfect, they're just elements to the show and you can take or leave them. Some shows have darker elements or different types of relationships, it isn't a big deal to me because I enjoy content with non traditional plotlines.
You can critique it as much as you'd like, but that doesn't make your critique worthy of being addressed.
How people putting this problematic series at such high pedestal is beyond me. If you can get past Type's unresolved…
"How can people enjoy something I don't like and find problematic?!?!" Dude, people enjoy gruesome horror movies as well, are you pearl clutching over that as well? We like 'imperfect' characters that make each other better over time and let's be honest, sometimes real life doesn't make sense either so I can't say the plot isn't unrealistic in that aspect.
About the incest, could not care less, a lot of us think they're adorable and you're free to feel differently, different strokes for different folks and all that. No drama will live up to your standards, and I do mean YOUR standards.
If you don't like the content of this movie then it isn't for you, full stop. Go away and stop whining about something that obviously isn't something you would enjoy.
Not gonna lie, I feel like they're going way too fast with season 2. With the pandemic going on they can't do workshops let alone film a full season of a show. I hope they wait until it's safe before filming, we don't need another Why R U where they're left with filler episodes for 3 weeks straight.
The number of people complaining about scenes being "choppy" and lack of Saifah and Zon when the production team…
The thing is though, it shows that they planned to have more T/F than S/Z from the start despite the show being labeled as having two main couples. People are allowed to be disappointed in a show they love when it doesn't live up to expectations. It doesn't take away from your enjoyment of it and if it does then that is a you problem.
Overall I enjoyed this little series a lot. With the final episode I particularly liked the conversation that was had between the two leads about the way Gun was acting towards Bar, rarely do BL dramas have decent communication and if they do it's off screen and we never actually see the development happy. Even with a short series like this we got to see the conversation happen and it be resolved so both characters could grow.
Don't come into this series expecting grand storylines or fantastic sets, it's a cute little series with a small budget that can be enjoyed in one afternoon.
Yeah, they had gotten up to the part of the story that was in episode 7 so now those of us who read it are going in blind lol. I'm keeping an eye out for another translation but I'm not hopeful.
It was being translated on Wattpad but the translator got a copywrite strike and it was taken down so they had to stop. There is nowhere else to read it in English as far as I know. The author also hasn't said anything about having it translated and sold in the West.
Gotta remember though, the car kiss happens while Tine is still trying to slowly get used to their new dynamic so it could still work. I mean they worked in the guitar bit no problem.
It was a good episode, but I am a bit sad that they're deciding to go in a different order than the novel, if they had gone by the novel, then we would have gotten a scene in a car during this episode. I won't say more just in case they decide to add it in later, just know that we missed out on something really good.
No doubt they don't like the scene where Sarawat paid his friends to make Tine drink, it's not a bad scene and nothing really happens with it. People just like to make it seem like it's a bigger deal than it is.
I'm sorry, but these comments are making me mad. If you're going to complain just simply not watch it. Many of…
People are allowed to have criticisms of a show, only when those criticisms get into personal attacks on actors/writers/crew are they going too far. Expressing disappointment with a main couple seemingly being ignored in favor of the other is a valid complaint.
