The issue is not that you were disappointed because you have the right to feel anyway you want. But the comment itself seemed more like uninformed hate from a non fan than a comment from a disappointed fan. Floods of comments like that and worse is why Krist was so anxious to make a BL comeback. Because non fans made such comments without knowing what really happened. They still do. But like I said, at least now you know the reality of the situation back then and won't let that cloud your judgement about his works 👍

Krist's symbol is a turtle because apparently he looks like one. So I guess they used that in the show and calls the turtle little Kawi because it's face looks like Kawi's hehe

Have you watched I Will Knock You? The silliest series I watched but it was such a serotonin boost. One of the MLs was great and it was the first acting gig for the other but it was still okay. The series has a unique setting and was a instant hit with the Thai audience because of it's retro vibe. It won the series of the year at MAYA awards 2023.

I want to watch DR because of Chimon. But I couldn't feel the chemistry in the trailer tbh. Maybe once I start the series I will change my mind on that. I hope so at least.

I like watching cheesy, light hearted BLs too and you are right in saying that the acting definitely needs to be good! For me the plot and script writing too. Like it can be cheesy and light hearted and still be a fresh idea and the scenes make sense you know what I mean 😅

Maybe you don't understand why others can't see the characters as they are because you are vieweing these characters from your perspective and not everyone has to share your perspective. Everything you mentioned here is solely your opinion. I am not sure since when thought provoking dialogues became sad and slow but a series can't satisfy everyone for sure. I understand what you mean about Max mentioning asexuality even though I believe Kawi is not asexual but I think the talk between Kawi and Max was between best friends who have known each other a long time. Max did tell Kawi "it is a way to know yourself". I think what Max was trying to say was that by experiencing it he can know whether he likes it or not. And that Pisaeng is a good person to experience it with since Kawi actually likes Pisaeng. However, it would have been better imo if Max at least had mentioned asexuals or people on ace spectrum. But otherwise I think the script writing has been amazing so far.

I agree with everything you said. Actually my mother had to be hospitalised for pneumonia some years ago and she had trouble breathing too. But after a few weeks in the hospital and good medical care obviously she recovered well. I understand Kawi's situation might be more serious but plenty of people have recovered from pneumonia. Also, I saw on twitter that some were saying this could also be a commentary on importance of vaccinations and that with proper care this can be avoided. I saw some thai tweets about it actually. Just a theory but was very interesting.
