Yea Gawin joined one year after Krist and they were aware of each other and used to sing together and stuff at GMM outings but they didn't know each other well. Pretty much like Kawi and Pisaeng where they were aware of each other but weren't friends. Just acquaintances 😁
I am not sure why people are assuming Kawi dying straight away because Kawi is very sick, yes, but the doctors did not say anything about him dying. People are very sick all the time but do recover too. Pisaeng is definitely blaming himself and overthinking because obviously he is a mess but going by Max and Pear's reactions, it's not that grave yet. I personally think it will have a happy ending because in original timeline Kawi lived to see Pear's marriage and in the other timeline, he lived beyond that. So this is not something he is destined for. This is just another implication of changing the past. The bigger the change, the bigger the implication but it's not destiny.

For once we got well fleshed out support characters AND MLs and some people are complaining about giving time to these support characters. Yes, the MLs are important but this story doesn't just revolve around them because changing things also changed lives of people around Kawi. I guess this shows no matter how good a series is, it cannot satisfy everyone 😅😅

None of it was filler imo. We know Pisaeng had issues with his mum, his mom being an ally but not accepting her son's choices in a way. We know Pisaeng suffered from loneliness and often felt isolated. Everyone assumed his life was perfect but it was far from it. He knew he was gay when he was 15 but not confident enough to accept it .

The amusement park was clearly a metaphor of Kawi not living in the moment and being held back because of his fears. It was kind of obvious. And again, Kawi is shown to be very sick, but not once did they mention he is dying or will be dead so not sure why people are assuming the worse already 🤷♀️

It's your opinion but disagree with the whole thing that you said given the time travel theme of the show and non-linear story telling from the beginning.
It's good though that Pisaeng will actually tell Kawi the truth after he travels back to the past. This way both of them can find a solution. I don't think it will be a sad ending. Krist also tweeted that this is the last bomb. I also think in future, when Pisaeng gets sick he will go to the doctor this time. Aye also mentioned in BMF stories that Pisaeng and Kawi end up marrying each other in another timeline.
Kawi and Pisaeng looked like actual real life couples for once. Not blushing, having fun 24/7 but also being cute when needed. Imo if you have spent time with someone for a long time, you do not need to act like you are in love all the time 🤷♀️ and Kawi and Pisaeng have been together a long time in that timeline.
