Omg did you see a new BL series in production called "Please Be My Favorite" and it's about.........engineering students! πππ₯² I am a firm believer of don't knock it until you try it so I guess I will be tuning in for the 1st EP at least π

One thing that Max said stuck to me was that the sex aspect will help Kawi find himself which is true. Even if he turns out to be asexual (which I don't think he is because he was very much into Pear and the girl at the bar when she was hitting on him and the way he reacts to Pisaeng sometimes), he needs to be sure about it. The talk between him and Max was more between best friends who have known each other for years. Max was right, Kawi is scared to take the final step because he doesn't know what to expect. He is comfortable now and wants it to be that way. He is scared to try new things. Seeing the the preview of EP 11 it seems he gave it a chance and he was finally initiating more physical touches. I don't think he was forced though. He asked for Max's opinion and Max gave his opinion. I am pretty sure they will show how it led to them being in the bedroom in EP 11. But we just got to wait and see because it seemed like he did have a talk with Pisaeng which is why Pisaeng asked him again "Are you sure?" and held his hands as an act of assurance.
I don't think his memories from other timelines work like that. Even in the timeline he was getting bits and pieces…
It's good because we get to see different perspectives too. I always think a good show results in discussions and debates about the plot & characters. We all have different life experiences and see things differently so it makes sense!
I don't think his memories from other timelines work like that. Even in the timeline he was getting bits and pieces…
Because you mentioned Pear last week so I thought you were talking about his relationship with Pear too. I still think he fully remembers the events when he is actively time travelling but the rest (the consequences and other events) are just flashbacks and memories for him which he doesn't fully remember in a classic time travel way. But again, just my opinion π

I do agree with you though that he is under pressure and is hesitant to move forward but I don't think it has anything to do with his relationship with Pear. But as you said, peope will interpret things differently of course! π
I've gotta say that ep10 was definitely by far, my least favorite episode of BMF thus far. And that's despite…
I think this episode some of the fluff was overshadowed by Kawi's stress and worry. I feel like this was intentional. The episode did show that none of them had a good time at the theme park and Kawi avoiding Pisaeng because he is hesitant to move forward. I personally think openly speaking about physical intimacy with a partner takes a lot more time and patience. Specially for someone like Kawi who defaults into shutting people out sometimes. And all couples have ups and downs and hiccups along the way. This was their very first issue as a couple. Kawi was putting up his wall again and shutting Pisaeng out because he was anxious but at the end he decided to get out of his head. I do think they will address some of this in EP 11 as well because we still need to see the theme park cuts.

Yea he remembers kissing Pisaeng because he was actively time travelling during this time so his actual self was present in the future/present timeline so he remembers it but the years dating with Pear, he was not there actively. He just remembers bits of it as memories and sudden flashbacks because he was not there actively. Like in 2nd EP, he saw that he was drunk dancing at the party and was trying to remember how that happened because his actual self was not present at that time. Also the times Kawi kissed Pisaeng he was drinking, so makes sense why he would be hesitant to take that step without alcohol. Like I said, he seems hesitant to try it and thinks he won't like it but he won't know until he experiences it.
WeeeEEEElllllLLLLL. Seems I was right about Kawi being βΏα΅α΅ Λ’α΅ α΅Κ³α΅α΅α΅α΅Λ‘ΚΈ avoidant to the physical…
I don't think his memories from other timelines work like that. Even in the timeline he was getting bits and pieces from time to time and not ALL his memories. So pretty sure he doesn't remember everything from the timeline when he was dating Pear imoπ€·ββοΈ but yea, kudos to the show openly dealing with the sex talk which is a genuine concern for many who just get into a relationship and not sure how to proceed with the physical aspect of it. Kawi this episode seemed like he didn't want get out of the comfort zone. The theme park metaphors were a nice touch!
Then why did you watch it? It has been long established what really happened after SOTUS. People are starting to see the truth and you are still stuck in the "he is homophobic" false narrative that international bl stans have been peddling for years now. You don't have to like him and just drop the show but don't spread misinformation without doing some actual research. You true intentions are showing by coming here to a show that's a hard pass for you, yet leaving a review loool.
And not you saying Krist needs BL to stay employed. So unserious! Only if you knew how hard it is for his fans to keep up with his schedule but again, your whole review screams mininformed bl stan so can't expect much anyway π€·ββοΈ
Yeah, same here. (And also for a lot of people in the live chat) Although what Max said was a βpersonalβ opinion,…
No worries! I agree it would have been better if Max even just mentioned asexuality. But little steps I guess. It's already a good thing that the series is openly talking about sex without stigmatising it. Max did mention that experiencing sex can also lead someone to find more about themselves (even if he doesn't like it or likes it).
Apart from Pear, Kawi also looked pretty excited when the girl in the bar was dancing with him and touching him. He was also giving out and moping about the fact that he was a virgin and didn't have sex with any girl yet in EP4. Because Kawi was back to telling Max about everything at this point, I think Max kind of knew that his bestie wasn't asexual imo.
