I don't know why it wasn't necessary to discuss the original intent lol? People talk about the writing and directing…
Yea that's what the writer wanted originally but that's not how it is. It's fun to see the original but you are taking it a bit too far by trying to establish that Yohan's character is evil. Maybe he was supposed to be evil but that is not how it is so why so hung up in the what could've been. We are not here to discuss original script but the actual plot of the show. Anytime someone roots for Yohan, I see your comment with "But that's not what original is...." well guess what, the original wasn't aired. Think of this as an alternate ending and move on pls. The author wanted to show another side of the show that could've been because the show is doing well. but that doesn't mean they wanted us to hate the present character. Author is not stupid to make people hate the current character that is not like the original.

Nothing like that is shown in drama 🎭 😂lol. writing something else, showing something else haha.
But the original version is not the show. That is the truth. Why do you keep going around twisting the current plot based on what could've been. It's interesting to read the original script but judging the present character based on what was SUPPOSED to happen is stupid.

It is clear from the first episode that Yo Han is the "devil" who does everything to his goals and everyone is…
BUT we shouldn't judge the present character on what the writer's original intent was rather than what the current character is. Writer's intent is not the plot of the show. So it is unfair to judge thr character that is shown now based on the original draft. You want to make seem Gaon seem an innocent angel but he isn't even aware of the dirty injustice going around him. He was happy to close his eyes and go on with his life until he met Yohan. So people should stop saying "that's not what the writer wanted" to make the current Yohan seem evil and current Gaon seem a saint. No one is a saint. Pretty sure the writer is okay with this change too or there would have been news of the writer blaming the production team....

Many mentioned here the similarities with Batman and some also referred to Batman - Robin bonding with regards…
I guess that's just the difference in perspective...

I am sure you have seen the Untamed. He suffered injustice in form of his loved ones being killed off and the other clans blamed him. Wei Wuxian stood for common people so they loved him however, the self-proclaimed rulers from other clans were against him and always labelled him the bad guy. The common people suffered.

Makes sense. Wei Wuxian suffered injustice and everyone labeled him as the bad guy because he didn't follow the rules and made his own justice.

I am not sure why people are hell-bent on proving that Yohan is the devil. like yea that was probably the writer's original intent but that is not what is being shown so why are people judging the present character on what could've been rather than judging Yohan on what he is. Yohan is 100% shady and likes to bend the rules to get what he wants but nothing compares to what the power-hungry foundation has been doing. Let's discuss the actual plot shown and not what was supposed to be yea. Gaon alone couldn't have brought down the foundation. He wasn't even aware of what has been going on until he was asked to spy on Yohan. People like Gaon and Soohyun might have good intent but they don't like to deviate from the norm and stick with things legally. but the law doesn't always protect the weak.

I think you are seeing it from the wrong way but okay. The show is trying to show that while Yohan has been labelled the devil by the people, the real devils are the ones hiding behind the masks (the foundation). People like Soohyun and Gaon cannot come close to bringing down the foundation because they like to follow everything by the book. Sometimes working by the book doesn't work. Even in real life, the legal system has failed to bring justice to victims. Their intentions are probably genuine but that alone cannot bring justice.

I think that the drama intentionally shows the plot in a way that makes it easier to empathize with Yo Han's situations…
I am pretty sure that's not what is going to happen. It has been made pretty clear that Yohan is not after power for the sake of it but he is fueled by revenge against the foundation and yea he is willing to do anything possible to bring them down. Yohan's goal is not dictatorship. The show wants to take a neutral stance on the fact that being moral doesn't always bring justice and acting on your impulses and taking the immoral route can also backfire.

Title The Devil Judge Spoiler
After ep.12 I'm sure Soo Hyun will find some evidence of Yo Han's guilt in the fire from 10 years ego. There is…
I don't think Yohan will be the ultimate evil. At best, he will eliminate SA and Gaon and Elijah will somehow then convince him that not everything is lost. I think we have enough evidence that he is not actually truly evil just trying to bring down a really corrupt government. Like the drama Beyond Evil evil mentioned "to catch a monster, you have to be a monster"....

I don't get the hatred for sohyun's character. She is a police officer and she wants to do everything in order…
Don't think SH is a very good police officer either. Rather than gathering evidence for truth she wants to believe one mindedly what she thinks to be true. In most cases, she has been a hindrance rather than a savior and others had to save her.

Not at all! I actually like Ga On, because he is different from the rest. I can't stand Seon Ah. And after episode…
Don't think Gaon will betray Yohan to intentionally hurt him but if you want little hint then at this stage he didn't choose to be on Yohan's side yet. He chose to listen to his bestie. He is still confused and being in dilemma. He chose separate himself from Kang family but still thinks of them.

I have a feeling that SooHyun's days are numbered and that is what will force Gaon to see that the world is not black and white or just good and evil. That would be the most appropriate end to her character because right now her contribution to the cause is 0.

don't think they are the love interests exactly. Also there are 4 hrs of content left. Maybe something will happen…
yea Gaon is very confused still as to what to do. His heart wants to help Yohan but his morals says to not do that. He does need some time apart from Kang family to clear his head and see the truth. Also as you said, him listening to Soo hyun makes sense as she is his only best friend known from a very young age.

seems like sun ah will now target elijah to get to Yohan. she is breaking everyone apart so she can single out Yohan and hurt him because she wants him to be lonely. But I think by the end, Gaon will come to his senses and they will band together to beat Sun ah.

Sun Ah and Soo Hyun ,, the most annoying love interests for the male leads one is pure psychopath and the other…
don't think they are the love interests exactly. Also there are 4 hrs of content left. Maybe something will happen which might change the way Gaon thinks. I mean a story needs to have ups and downs, break ups and reunions for it to be interesting...

My personal opinion, KMJ’s character doing semi-aegyo way of talking is so unnecessary. I’m sure it’s to…
I agree. I don't know why but the way the character speaks gets on my nerve. Maybe because I am not an aegyo or semi aegyo person. Also the way she tilts her head when speaking and makes her eyes big is kinda ...At first, I thought it was the character trying to be fake but then she goes on speaking like that 24/7 even when she is alone. it's kinda cringy.

I am the only one who wants sunah and yohan to end up together somehow? neither seem to have the capacity for…
that would be a disastrous couple. they bring out the worst in each other and have 0 empathy. Definitely wouldn't work. Not to mention that Sun Ah's obsession with Yohan from a very young age is hella toxic. Only people who romanticize toxic relationships would root for them as a couple.
