Episode 28 was heartbreaking but on the bright side, I'm grateful that the prince's friend and uncle were the ones to stab the prince in the back first. Now, the 1st prince can kill them both without feeling guilty.
Honestly, I get where the emperor is coming from, a nation needs a strong leader and the second prince and the princess both cannot carry this burden for the time being! But he really did not have to go this far!!! He could've taken another approach with his son!

Yao Murong was a child, he did not understand the stakes of murdering a prince and he still does not, his father on the other hand does understand that only a strong leader can make a nation strong. The empire is nothing but a reflection of its leadership. Also, if his target was the emperor from the get go, why planning to massacre 300 000 innocent soul in the border when his father dedicated his entire life fighting for civilians??!!! Nahh this man is beyond evil ..
The prime minister had a child who is "dead". In episode 2, he briefly mentioned how he can't even put a memorial tablet for his son. I wonder what happened to that child, how he/she died and why he can't put a memorial tablet for him/her!!
I love how this drama is handling the "separation part" by separating the couple by not separating them. Even when they are miles apart, they are still working with each other to protect each other without communicating with each other. This shows how deep goes their understanding of each other's personality and thinking.
The same way Fu Yixiao was betrayed by her sworn brother and the prince who once promised her marriage, Feng Suige will also be betrayed by his loved ones. My theory is that the sister will betray him and his brother, the 2nd prince, is the one plotting behind the scenes to eventually take over the throne.
My first theory was the prince's childhood friend but since he was sent with his father to guard the borders, I guess we'll him later when the ML and FL are in trouble.
Watched episode 1 when it dropped then dropped it after first 30 minutes, came back again hours later and forced myself to finish the remaining of episode 1 and honestly I cannot feel the chemistry!! Both lead actors are veterans however this is not the drama for both of them!
PS: script writers need to really do a better job researching things they don't know and want to incorporate in their story! It was so confusing watching the genie try and explain his story!

She was inside the bunker hiding while the USA was about to start a nuclear war with North Korea sacrificing the South!
When she said "47" when he was questioning her after the torture, I thought she was talking about some old revenge or blood feud she had with him but then the following episode's reveal threw me off guard lmaooo I love it when enermies in dramas put gender aside and treat each other as equals. Hopefully no damsel in destress in this drama, she's a renowed commander so please don't put her character down just so he can shine!
Why are people saying it's an open ending in the comment section ?? Its not!! They showed San Ho in the desert burrying Munju's necklace, they both know that they can't be with each other coming from two different parts of the korean peninsula, one is destined to lead the South while the other is considered a spy there! The act of burrying the necklace is him saying "I'm letting go"! But ofc, I trust that they'll always be allies heading towards the same goal.
That's mature love, This is the closest we can get to love in the real world in a Kdrama if I'm being honest. Their feelings were real, they were just born in the wrong time.

Take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt. Companies and celebrities these days hire online PR companies to control the narrative via fake accounts and trolls posing as real people. I'm personally going to watch from afar and wait for the dust to subtle. Im not going to jump on anyones side but i'll also keep my distance from the actor and all his work until he's really proven 100% innocent because these are serious allegations.

Well, I finished the first 2 episodes. I don't think he old man is dead, also the wife/bodyguard didn't see him…
My thoughts after watching the first two episodes:
1) The chairman is dead! It won't make sense for him to fake his death since he's a goner in less than three months. He just wanted to rest early so he doesn't experience that pain again.
2) The contract the FL signed will come to bite her in the ahss, she will be accused of killing the chairman and lose the enheritance. The daughter will buy the butler's silence since she was the only person with the FL when the chairman died. HOWEVER, she will be saved because of the video the chairman recorded. That video will keep her safe as long as the phone is with the lawyer whome I trust because he's goofy and he really did care about the chairman.
3) Idk why and how but I have a feeling deep down that the ML is the chairman's biological son, I just don't have a solid proof yet! I mean, why is he driving all the way from the village to Seoul to deliver that huge amount of strawberries every two weeks ?? Strawberries don't last long in the fridge and only 5 people live in that house, there is no way they are eating that amount of berries in just 15 days.
I have a feeling that after the daughter's death, the chairman decided to keep his son hidden to protect him especially when he has a kid. Seeing him every two week kept him going I guess!
Also, I doubt that the Bodyguard will keep the enheritance when everything's over! The shareholders won't agree unless there is someone who is capable to run the company. If my theory is right, and the guy turns out to be the chairman's son, I'm positive that the has a solid background and not just a farmer the way his strawberry business is doing just fine!
