Everyone's here politely addressing what they like and dislike about this drama under this comment section but you, in the other hand, going around under people's comments insulting them just because they said they don't like the script or they feel like the FL's character doesn't make sense ..etc
I just binged EP3-EP9 and honestly I am disappointed!! The first 2 episodes is were this drama peaked if I'm being honest. What happened to the script afterwards?? Did they change writers after the first 2 episodes!! It doesn't make any sense how the quality slowly went downhill afterwards !!

I think XJS wasn't targetting the princess but the emperor's unborn son. He realized that he can't make his brother bow to him unless he threatens him with what he cherished the most. Also, don't forget that the emperor "stole" the princess from his brother so techinally speaking XJS lost to his brother yet again. Also, the princess cannot go back to her country carrying the enemy's son, that will put her in grave danger. This stabbing tied the remaining loophole.
