Why are people saying it's an open ending in the comment section ?? Its not!! They showed San Ho in the desert burrying Munju's necklace, they both know that they can't be with each other coming from two different parts of the korean peninsula, one is destined to lead the South while the other is considered a spy there! The act of burrying the necklace is him saying "I'm letting go"! But ofc, I trust that they'll always be allies heading towards the same goal.
That's mature love, This is the closest we can get to love in the real world in a Kdrama if I'm being honest. Their feelings were real, they were just born in the wrong time.
Wow people still are defending a pdf, i guess a lot of people are brainwashed, if you're a man and you're defending…
Take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt. Companies and celebrities these days hire online PR companies to control the narrative via fake accounts and trolls posing as real people. I'm personally going to watch from afar and wait for the dust to subtle. Im not going to jump on anyones side but i'll also keep my distance from the actor and all his work until he's really proven 100% innocent because these are serious allegations.
My thoughts after watching the first two episodes: 1) The chairman is dead! It won't make sense for him to fake…
I just rewatched the episode, the chairman said something along the lines "the half-sobling plan won't work on them now so i need another plan" .. thats not suspicious at all 😅
Well, I finished the first 2 episodes. I don't think he old man is dead, also the wife/bodyguard didn't see him…
My thoughts after watching the first two episodes:
1) The chairman is dead! It won't make sense for him to fake his death since he's a goner in less than three months. He just wanted to rest early so he doesn't experience that pain again.
2) The contract the FL signed will come to bite her in the ahss, she will be accused of killing the chairman and lose the enheritance. The daughter will buy the butler's silence since she was the only person with the FL when the chairman died. HOWEVER, she will be saved because of the video the chairman recorded. That video will keep her safe as long as the phone is with the lawyer whome I trust because he's goofy and he really did care about the chairman.
3) Idk why and how but I have a feeling deep down that the ML is the chairman's biological son, I just don't have a solid proof yet! I mean, why is he driving all the way from the village to Seoul to deliver that huge amount of strawberries every two weeks ?? Strawberries don't last long in the fridge and only 5 people live in that house, there is no way they are eating that amount of berries in just 15 days.
I have a feeling that after the daughter's death, the chairman decided to keep his son hidden to protect him especially when he has a kid. Seeing him every two week kept him going I guess!
Also, I doubt that the Bodyguard will keep the enheritance when everything's over! The shareholders won't agree unless there is someone who is capable to run the company. If my theory is right, and the guy turns out to be the chairman's son, I'm positive that the has a solid background and not just a farmer the way his strawberry business is doing just fine!
He probably travelled to the future using that page left from the journal. Maybe another eclipse happed and the page led him to her. It took him some time to ajust to the new world, found her from that article and came to meet her.
This was actually a good watch! I am surprised. The acting was a bland 80% of the time but overall the action scenes carried this mini series! I enjoyed watching the FL fight back, get knocked out then rise to back again. The actress did great with the choreography. Now if she can only work on her acting skills and delivery, she'll def go places!
Personally, I don't have any problem with this show being adapted into a western version since its kinda a universal thing. They can change the game into games played in the west and it would def work since similar-ish shows do exist. However, I still can't see how they'll make an American Squid Games since the entire show is built around Korean culture and games. Idk lets wait and see ... That said, I'm really happy seeing Asian originals having western remakes. We def need this to happen more often.
After reading the synopsis, the drama plot looked identical to "The story of Kunning Palace" so I considered skipping this one for that reason and because every single historical drama lately is "time travel" or "isekai" themed, its getting super boring with these predictable stories. HOWEVER, since its only 20 minutes long, I decided to "waste" 20 minutes of my time to check the first episode and I'm glad I did because that plot twist at the end was everything!!!
What did I expect ?? For both of them to become emperors, marry and unite their kingdoms SKSKSKSKSKSKSKKSKSK Still what is happening and what will happen is breaking my heart!!
1) Bon Apetite your majesty so far its good but I kinda want more food less drama but I'll take it for now. 2) Confidence queen : decided to not watch it now, not in the mood for another con artists drama! 3) Queen mantis: currently my favorite airing drama and I only watched 2 episodes lol 4) Twelve : waiting for the finale to binge it. idk what to expect but since its fantasy, i'm in! 5) Beyond the bar : it was flat like a dead man's heart beat. I'm glad it only had 12ep! 6) Marry kills people: on the waiting list ...
These streaming platform piss me offff!! They always hold onto dramas for years until they become outdated then release them to flop because they don't fit the current trends ..
I was side eyeing the first episode so so hard because I thought they'll make the entire drama about the copycat killer while the female serial killer stays in prison but they actually didn't!!! I have never been THIS happy before lol From the few clips we've seen in this first episode, the mom gave me the chills ngl !! That interaction between her and her son when she was narrating how she gave birth to him.. holy shit!!! That was insane. I need more of that please!
