Hi just wanted to ask for spoilers from the novel. What happens to Wei Ting Yu?

I really don't care about Wei Ting Yu. People who have read the book, what happened to Ting Yu in the end.

I think the little boy is alive. They showed the boy talking to the Nurse in daylight. The writer uses light to indicate life and death. Most of the time when Nurse talks to a ghost, there is either no natural light or outside light to be seen. But with the boy there was sunlight from the window. In that scene also the panned to the nurses at the desk and the boy was still there. Sometimes director changes perspective to show if someone is a ghost and if they are there in real life. Director did that with the Grandma.

I heard people say in the book they were only 1 year apart. I think drama creator would stay true to that gap. I think the emperor was saying general statement and not exact number it's like some just rounding up the number and saying 2 decades ago.

woops you are correct it is episode 6 where they said FL and sisters age.

In episode 3 Ming's mother said to Ming that she has already come of age. In historical times the coming of age was I think around 15-16. Which is absolutely crazy that people that age would even be able to marry. Thank God things have changed now. Then episode 6 they actually say Ming's age is 16 and Zhao's age 23. From my understanding it seems like things are not matching exactly in the first timeline. In first timeline Zhao had already been married to her husband for some time, she even said in episode 1 she has been married into her husband's family for 10 years. We do not know when she got married, unless I have missed that part. If Zhao got married exactly at coming of age and had been married for 10 years then Zhao would be 25-26 years in the first timeline And therefore Ming would be around 18-19. I also highly suspect that Zhao didn't get married at exactly coming of age so she could have been even older. And therefore Ming could have been even older than 18-19. In the present timeline they are just talking about Zhao marrying, she has not been married into the husband's family for 10 years. So that already doesn't match the first timeline, so things already dramatically different

Oh that one, yes it indicates that her mother is possibiliy dead and is possibly the lady who was dead in the morgue. The highschool girl has the ability to see spirits/ghost so there is possibility she didn't realize her mother was dead or her mother just died recently.The light bulb seems to have symbolism in the drama. So even the indication of the light being off might point to the mother being already dead. The coffin with flowers I think is just ceremonial.

So Basically it indicates that the people who are the hospital bed, are actually stuck in a inbetween space between life and death. Their Spirit is basically wandering. But their body is in a coma. Some people who we thought were alive, the last scene shows that was actually their Spirit. Some who we thought were fully dead, the last scene shows they aren't fully dead. Also puts the question, what happened to them that put them in a coma and will some of them wake up.

The editing and the storytelling is done so well because the point is they are deliberately leaving out information. So you might be thinking things are just happening just because, but actually that is not the conclusion of events and there is more to those scenes and moments and the writer is still yet to reveal overall what is truly really happening. Huge pieces of information has been hidden in order to confuse viewers. So you can't just take scenes at face value.

This drama deserves more than 8. I saw it was even 7.9 before. I don't know what is happening with MDL. MDL has never been reliable in ratings but this year it seems like many good dramas are not getting the proper rating they deserve.

Really hoping that kdrama world will do it's happy ending magic. I am optimistic that there will some how be a happy ending.

I'm on episode 3, loving it so far. I saw some clips ahead and read some comments. So an aware of second leads. I am just confused about some thing, do they actually end up together?

It hasn't aired yet.October 1st is not the airing time. The airing date has yet to be released.
