Haha I am fully aware that Jdramas have many cheating dramas. I am familiar with them, they don't frighten me at all. This drama from experience doesn't seem will go down that lane. There might be miscommunication but main leads both don't seem to have a wandering eye. In cheating dramas you can clearly see from the very beginning that they will cheat. This one seems different.
The last episodes were still amazing, lots of sweet moments and the second concubine doesn't cause so much trouble. Main leads still had many sweet moments together. I'm sure everything will get sorted out season 2.
Completed season 1, looking foward to season 2. Such a wonderful drama. Really love the connection between the main leads. I am actually glad we got the whole of season 1 to build this kind of connection, it makes their friendship and bond have layering of depth. Makes one heart ache more for them to be together. So excited to see when they actually confess to each. 🥹 Also love the sisterhood, the friendships and familyness with all the people Mudan has met along the way, so beautiful! 😭

I'm on episode 28. I love how you can see their real feelings getting revealed. Their conversation with Fu and Chun, the answers the main leads were saying was so cute and true! We all know ML fell in love with her at first sight. When they first met after she left he gave a lingering look, he was already smitten. So him saying he fell in love with her from beginning, when she was still married but he had to hide his feelings 😭 broke my heart. FL heart fluttered when he said it, she could feel the truth in it. Even though she might still close her eyes to the ML actually being in love with her. She definitely felt truth there. Also the ML has been so sincere about everything in marrying Mudan. Just simply they way he is behaving. You can tell the marriage is not fake to him.

She is one of the villains. Her romance line is also complicated. I think one shouldn't fear their fave actress playing villain roles. They can't always play kind, good characters, and they are an actor, they are doing their job and therefore they will play different types of roles.
