Yes after they came back they immediately started to scheme against FL. So just prepare your emotions. FL father didn't disown her but he is weak man and didn't defend her or protect her and was going to find her to send her back.

You won't see them for several episodes after FL leaves, but they do come back.

She didn't say not to marry but to not be dependant on a man. Because it is simply smart. If she finds a great kind man, awesome but if she doesn't have a man she should know and be able to provide for herself and survive. That is smartness and wisdom.

Thanks! Exacly we can empathize with Shengyi and understand her trauma and see why she is the way she is but we can also say girl, why did you do that, that was out of line, that was not good at all.
I agree, we don't know how it will pan out, we don't know what decision Mudan will make.
But I wish people didn't have the narrative that someone is not a good friend or unkind if they don't tolerate every single flaw of a friend, personally it's just not a healthy mindset to have.

I don't know if you seen spoilers, but this situation doesn't just escalate to simple disagreements. I think you are just looking at one side.We can acknowledge someone's trauma, we can empathize, we can even support. We see FL has done that with strength, compassion and even sacrifice.
But just because someone has traumas doesn't mean people have to suffer under someones traumas to the point someone rights, safety and even freedom are destroyed. Both side has rights. Not just one.
If someone doesn't want to be subjected to a friendship that might jeopardize their safety and health. That is that person's right. That is not a bad friend that is someone knowing their limits and protecting themselves.

Really loving the bond between all the woman. Also loving the journey of their business.

I'm on ep 3, wow didn't know they took that direction with his character. Even before knowing this information just wanted to see him suffer in regret. But now knowing this he needs to be absolutely destroyed. Also for clarification are you talking about comments in MDL or some other social media platform.

Thanks for letting me know, from that statement, I do think he does like her 😭. Finished episode 3 now, I don't know why he doesn't want to let her go, he said he didn't want to marry her but when she wants a divorce, he does't want it 🤦🏿‍♀️. I am all for the storyline of him regreting that he missed a chance with her.
