I am confused why you think that a bodyguard automatically is emotionally sound, has self esteem, has no mental health issues or emotional issues. That is not the case. That's removing the human side and emotions from a bodyguard. She is paid to protect others, it doesn't mean it automatically translate to her having no mental health or emotional hurdles that she is dealing with herself. The oppression that people's mind is subject to has impact, clearly we see FL has been in intense environment since she was young, the mind is more complex than you think, it takes a lot of strength for a victim to rise up. It's ep 1, it's a journey.

She's a bodyguard not a machine. She's a person, not a computer. You expect her to know every swing that comes towards her. Very unrealistic standards

Remember in ep 1 he attempted to tell him he has the ability of time looping after that he has now been thinking ML is acting strange. However, I am suspicious of Huang Yan and him wanting to keep an eye on ML.

Haha yes they do be staring at each other. Their chemistry is great. You can tell they are in love with each other.

Yes theres is slight romance. Main leads like each other romantically. However it is not the full focus.

Mr Mo is being pointed out as the villian. However, I am not fully convinced yet if he is the main big bad or a villain at all. I am more suspicious of the man he is accused of killing Jiang Yu Wen. Jiang. Yu wen definitely a looper.
The way he was described to have disappeared into thin air. Definitely a looper and is most likely still alive and I think might be the major villian.
Like others have said in the comments. I think the other old scientists most like witnessed Yu wen being killed by Mr Mo or even just being killed in one of his loops. Now I am not sure if his retelling is correct because of his mind there is several possibilities like Yuwen attacked Mr Mo and Mr Mo out of self defense killed Yuwen by mistake in a loop or maybe the old scientists is mixing Mr Mo and Yuwen up.
So many possibilities it's genius that the writer chose someone whose mind is not in the best of mind as a witness because it still leaves room for possibilities of what actually occurred.

I am Senior Police man is highly suspicious and I don't trust him and I think his comedic persona is all a pretense. I think there is a possibility he might be a big bad not the only one though.
He seems too curious about the ML looping abilities, doesn't seem like it's out of concern but like someone who want to possess the ability for bad or to stop ML making progress in solving the loops and cases.

Everyone appreciates a beautiful face haha. As a woman can't help but swoon over a handsome male lead but it's not the only reason I watch a show. I won't get annoyed if I don't find the Male lead attractive. I care for plot and emotions, acting. There have been many shows with handsome and beautiful leads but the story is absolutely flat and boring, I will literally lose interest. Everyone swoons of over beauty and handsomeness but it's hopefully not the only factor in choosing to watch a show.

I think it's important to challenge what the mainstream system is telling you is the only normal aesthetics. There are more and diverse aesthetics out there and each one is beautiful even if it doesn't fit pop culture systems shallow standards. l'm excited to see a female lead other than the cliche. Same and cliche styling and aesthetics can get boring. Something different is good too.

The statement in ep 1 is quite straightforward and not a forshadowing haha the person is correct and I believe you are also correct of identity of Grandma in ep1

Grandma in beginning of ep 1 is Neice of FL.
So FL's Father is Neice's Grandfather.
Since FL Father is also Neices Father's Father, therefore Neice's Grandfather
So basically the statement is talking about how FL's Father (Neices Grandfather was waiting for the Neice's Aunt (his daughter) but then he simply didn't get to see her before he passed as she was away in Germany and hid his sickness. Why did that fly over my head. When one has watched too much complicated plot haha 😂

Ok I see they seem to be trying to keep her a mystery. For a second I was like is the Grandma the FL older, the way they transitioned from Grandma's voice to FL's voice. Also I don't know what year we are in first 5 minutes of ep1. However we know FL is in 1939. Don't know her age but she could be atleast 22 in 1939. So if first 5 minute is even 1980s. It's still possible Grandma could be FL. However that's just a theory haha.Yeah still also suspicious if Grandma is neice of FL because FL did go to Germany to study. I guess we have to wait and see. Glad that the chemistry is good between the main leads. Even from trailer chemistry seemed good. Yes I love the styling of old Hong Kong movies. Looking forward to watching the episodes.

Haha exactly, I was like did they just tell me the ending. I was like what is the point. Yes I will continue to see how everything goes. Hoping for a happy ending for main leads atleast. I still think there is some sort of mystery, only watched first 10 minute ep 1. But have they shown the Grandma's face?
