You have right to opinion but you are deviating from the original topic of original comment. The original commenter said the ML had too much screen time. I am neither talking about characterization of characters or writing of characters skills or their character arc. I am talking about the time shown of the male lead and why he is the main focus it's simply because he is the main lead.

He is is the main lead and he literally is the only one on the poster. The title is literally called Legend of Zang Hai, he is Zang Hai, Therefore ofcourse he has to have the most screen time. I just find that an utterly strange complaint 😂 How can the main lead have too much screen time. I also think the main couple had great chemistry.

Not everyone has friends or even family they can fall back on just simply like that. Many people don't have that privilege. There are people who don't have friends and live a lonely life and are isolated from their family.We have to also look at the characterization of the ML. His mother is cold as ice his brother is cold too. Only warm and fond memory he has is of his Grandmother who is probably not alive. He schemes and cuts corners in his business and so already has enemies. He is so focused on getting 3 stars he doesn't even take time to make friends with his staff.The smart and wise thing would have been for him to have financial independance but he simply didn't do that. Which still matches his characterization.His mother is controlling, we don't know how she control his life or money. Maybe he makes the money but she found a way to house that money to her and the company.TLC one of the most famous girl groups sold millions of albums but were still broke and not recieving their money. Their company was taking their money. Many companies find a way contractually steal the workers money. Kpop groups even, will be dressing fancy, travelling by plane and going to fancy hotels. But some are not getting paid. They have been incidents of this. If that company decides to end their contract and that contract is written in favour of the company. The person leaves without anything.And if the person doesn't have loving friends and family, boom struggle and back to normal job.Anyway its a rom com, your meant to not to analyse logistics to this extent haha.
