This drama was really a roller coaster ride. Amazing drama but the end was not it for me. I was not a fan of how the story was concluded, both for Kyung Min and Jung Suk. I did not want it to be a happy ending, i just wanted everyone to pay for what they did. Apart from that, i was spellbound by the drama. Also the actors did not come to play at all especially the younger actors.
I have seen people comparing this drama to The Glory and Weak Hero Class 1, these dramas are all amazing dramas in their own right. While these dramas have similarities, it cannot be expected that they would all end the same way. The rinse and repeat plots that are common in romance kdramas does not need to bleed into thrillers.
I avoided last week episode because i wanted to watch the last 2 episodes together. Imagine my surprise when i realised that last week's episode was not uploaded.
She sees the way her step sister treats her, why does she think it will be any different with the brothers. Brothers who are dragging a big successful company. Like lets put our thinking hat on babes
We don't know that for sure. We saw them hug and that's it. Do they resolve their differences and work out how they can have a relationship while Doona still having her career? Those questions are literally hanging in the air.
What was with that God-awful ending?? Writers who give their dramas ambiguous endings are cowards who are too scared to give a sad ending. I was enjoying the drama until the end. With how it ended, i would not have minded if he ended up with Jin Ju and Doona was just happy living her idol life.
When people kept saying it had old kdrama vibes i did not understand it until i watched it. I watchee the first 2 episodes and its honestly so interesting. Will definitely be seated for the rest lol.
Paying to have your friend killed, the same friend you thought killed someone for you, was just straight up gutter behaviour. They all did really well. The only thing i did not like was how Su An died. Besides that it was all really good. Amazing drama.
Netflix needs to make better subtitles. While watching it, it was like i was reading something different and hearing a totally different thing. Now I'm by no means fluent in Korean but I've watched a lot of dramas and the meaning of some words and sentences have stuck so imagine my shock when I'm watching this drama and reading a different thing in the subtitles. Sometimes the error was mixing up 'guardian' with 'sibling' and a character saying 'grandmother' and the subtitle saying 'dad'. It goes on and on and on.
There's just something about Ji Chang Wook in action drama, they really suit him. His romance dramas are also good but the action dramas just suit him more imo
typical Kdrama, women cheating is justified because of x, y, z etc etcmen even looking at other women makes them…
We're literally watching a drama where the ML is cheating and his excuse is that "he drank a love potion" and then they make his girlfriend cheat so what he's done so far is not so bad. So don't come here talking about "if a man did it" because we've literally seen them do worse but there's always a dumb excuse for it.
And you thinking that there is no such thing as a friendship between a man and a woman is juvenile. You need to grow up and break free from the shackles of such thinking.
Also, this is the last I'm replying to you. You think she's cheating, go make your own comment and cry under it. Personally, i think the relationship and friendship they are forming is cute.

Yes, really. If the dad was doing the doing the same and the mother was acting the way the father is currently acting, my opinion would remain the same. Is it now cheating to be friendly with a person of the other sex because we all know she doesn't see him that way and is only saying what she has said to make her husband pay the least attention to her.
Just because you feel differently about something doesn't mean other people have to agree with you.
Personally, i think its cute and their story should be fleshed out more even if they end up being just friends but you don't share the same opinion and that's fine.
