I really donno....i wonder too...i only watched the donghua....But in BOY the three of them made an appearance and at that point shit happened and Su Muyu and Mu Yumo were the last 2 standing...so the 3 of them are definitely the main characters of this story since this story was actually written after BOY.

But now that i think of it...i suspect that the other reason that ....here in the drama.... they placed Mu Yumo ahead of Sure Changhe in order to dispel and dilute any shipping of Su Muyu and Su Changhe. They really don't want to push the bl bromance narrative and I've noticed even in promotional events, they are trying to keep Gong Jun and Chang Huasen as far apart as possible.
Even on weibo, Gong Jun's fans are mostly very much against anyone who even insinuates a possible 'awe' relationship between the two characters and they keep emphasizing that 'bl fans stay away...they are pure brothers'.....
