I always try something because I see potential in it and if something ends up disappointing me, I'll of course be honest about it.

Trying a drama and then dropping it doesn't mean that I wasted my time, I love exploring but I won't finish a drama or a movie when my interest clearly stopped.
There are many movies and dramas that most people think are high quality that I didn't enjoy, as you can see through my profile. Not every idol dramas are bad imo.
