He literly lost everything because of her. If he didn't enter the competition he sister would been alive, he would have graduated and he would still have his company. And he wouldn't had to spend 3 years of his life in prison and god knows what kind of trouble he encountered in that place. He broke her heart but in a way even if it wasn't intentional he broke his soul.

Li xun never wanted to be part of that damn competition he only competed because of ZY. He also never trusted anyone and never wanted to befriend anyone because of her tried to let in and trusted people like Gao through the years and both of the decisions costed him dearly. He lost his sister, his only family, he lost his company ,he will never be able to graduate, he lost three years of his life and god knows what kind of trouble he encountered in that horrible place and when he gets out no company will ever hire him. ZY maybe heartbroken but she never went through half the pain he endured. All he ever wanted was to graduate and make money to support and protect his sister and the sad truth is that he will never be able to do that.

They won't be able to beat him, the guy is from a powerful and rich background he will get away with anything unless they had her parents support which is impossible like if it was someone else he won't be able to evento set foot in any university let alone be part of the competition.

How can you smile seeing someone who trusted his entire company to you in that situation like how can you evil can you can be.

he's a genius and hardworking , he does not need that education to reach such level. As you said he was already on another level before attending university. Even thou this is fiction but even in real life is somehow close to this like my late little brother used to do my older sister practise math papers she was high school student while he was starting middle school. Some people are just god gifted and they dont nee that much help.
