Deng Wei delivered his kissing scenes in a special way I'd say. Passionate but not in a physical/sexual vibe but in a romantic light. Btw, he's drop dead gorgeous in every take and every cut. I wonder how that would feel like being this beautiful.
Can you please share the link to the novel? Thanks.
Oh now the bell rings. I know that drama. Once looked for/waited for it as I need me more LYN after I finished 'A Journey To Love' with Liu Shi Shi. Later, gave up and forget it already. Now, it's time to reconnect.
I read novel first, and now have started watching the drama version. The storyline of the drama is drastically different from the novel. I felt like it's almost another brand new story with the addition of new characters ( for e.g., existence of the SML and the SFL), getting rid of all the 19+ plots and bed-scenes, introduction of new storylines (the whole saga behind the death of ML's parents, the exploration of black iron crystal mines, ML & FL lost in the sandstorm, etc. ).
The drama version made ML more civilized and less ferocious. In the novel, ML is more like sex-craved, very physical guy who r***d the FL which I find loathsome and filthy even if it was portrayed as one of the acts of lovestruck obsessive male character. The novel ML's only redeeming quality is his allegedly handsome looks, and perhaps his loyalty to one bed partner.
The drama ML is more intelligent, gentlemen-type which I am glad to see.
I like Chang Hua Sen but as the drama dives deeper, I find his character "Chong Zhao" gradually and increasingly unlikable. He shows a lot of indecisive moments, also makes petty decisions, and he somehow becomes an epitome of men with victim mentality. He didn't even try to resist the fate. With so much potential yet wasted. The character gives me growing frustration with every episode.
Thank his parents. His nose is natural, watch Youth With You 3 and you will see. God, why do people assume a handsome…
LOL .. Participation in Youth with You 3 doesn't prove clean of plastic surgery, dear. :D
Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against him or the idea of plastic surgery. One can do whatever they want and I appreciate the aesthetic value in every form.
The second male lead is the actor who took the role of 'Li Tong Guang' from "A Journey to Love". I am simping for him. Total snack. His side profile is insane. Wherever he got his nose done, his plastic surgeon should be awarded platinum cuz it is a work of art. Chang Hua Sen, you're my new crush.

For those who want to taste the brutality of violent and redflag ML, here is the link to novel. :P

A fan of the second ML 'Chang Hua Sen'.
