Am I the only one that can't stand Jin Sun Mi, because she is such a useless character? Every time she is on screen,…
I love her character ... I think her feelings and reactions are normal, especially being someone who grew up disliked and isolated. Her rough exterior was a way to protect herself from the attacks from the spirit realm and people who didn't understand her because of it. This is the first time in her life she is feeling accepted, cared for and valued not just by another man but other "people" (so to speak)..... She can finally let go and trust someone else. She doesn't have to be alone or lonely. She can finally begin to share her feelings with someone else...she likes that feeling...she is also scared it will all go away...that the one she trusts will break her long protected heart...Its called being human. It's a big deal.

I'm loving this drama, I think it's great and really fun to watch but her going into the coffin to sleep in episode…
The writers are setting the frame work for Oh Gong as we get to the climatic point of angst and pain before a beautiful ending....but I completely agree with you about her going into the coffin...NOW if she had been put under some kind of mind-altering "spell" which allowed her to be more easily manipulated...but with her mind in tact she drops all resistance to "sleep in an ice cold box forever" without even questioning ...I felt like SM accepted the warped logic way to easily.

I don't love it yet but 6 gives me some hope the pace of 7 and 8 next Tuesday will gain some momentum....
The Cliches are ok...I don't have issue the leads chemistry. The writing is a disappointment...I feel there are to many secondary players on the field, which makes the flow of the story choppy.

Anyone noticed they changed from PG-19 to PG-15 in the last episode? Is it possible to back to PG-19 again? Funny…
I am guessing each episode is rated for the content it specifically contains, not the entire drama. It's the same way they rate programs in the US.

I just read the following on twitter which is a bit different from what I posted earlier about the episode airing…
I'm suspect with 2 episodes out at once it may take a bit longer than usual before we see them both subbed.

It's very interesting how deeply rooted Christianity is becoming in South Korean society. It's affecting so many…
Christianity has been a threat to Korea's confucian mind set for for 300 years, when catholic missionaries brought the "forbidden" books aka catholic writing from China into Korea, this isn't new. The catholic church has beatified over 124 martyrs, but estimate that over 10,000 have died for the gospel, making it the nation with the 4th largest number of people recognized by the church as Saints. There is a museum and memorial dedicated to them in Seoul.

It makes up about 25% of the nation, a little more than half of the portion are protestant, the rest being catholics.

Prior to the Japanese occupation ...
Pyongyang (North Korea) was once called the Jerusalem of the East after a outpour of God's presence came in 1907, Many churches, schools and hospitals were born out of this movement. There is a small book called WHEN THE SPIRIT'S FIRE SWEPT KOREA by JONATHAN GOFORTH, D.D. which discusses what happened.

One of the most famous missionaries to Korea before the Japanese occupation was HG Underwood from US (born in the UK, he helped establish the Korean presbyterian church, worked on translating the bible into Korean, establish the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association) in Seoul, as well as 2 major universities. He also wrote several books including The Call to Korea.

These two movements elevated the status of women, children and the poor. It brought in education, healthcare and a new standard for equality.

After the Korean war the 5am prayer movement started at Myung Sung Presbyterian Church is the largest Presbyterian church in the world, and Osanri Cho-Jasil (Prayer Mountain) was built by the worlds largest full gospel church back in 2000, allowing tens of thousands of people people to hold prayer meeting, take person time to reflect and fast each year.

In the 1990's- early 2000's Korea sent the 2nd largest number of missionaries around the world, I think it's 6th on the list now, as China has done more to keep missionaries out the country.
Also, a large number of Korean christian moved to America and Canada over the last 20 years.

In recent years the more institutionalize churches are seeing membership struggling to maintain, the younger generation is unable to connect, while more contemporary charismatic/spirit filled church's are seeing growth.

In my opinion, this drama is mediocre with so many cliche moments. That wrist grabbing move really needs to stop.…
I really like it but I don't love it just yet... though the chiches in RR maybe more than I prefer, it would be hard to find a drama without them, especially in a romcom... They can be cute and funny...sometimes annoying.... culturally speaking the wrist grabbing thing in korea is not unusual, but it not typically done or seen as a hostile way of communicating...It is true in dramas exaggerate the scenarios and it can be abusive.
The script is a bit choppy, there holes, there seem to be WAY too many characters in the mix to pay attention to...The acting skills of the core are keeps this drama afloat for me... I especially like the chemistry between the leads, and the bromance with the doctor....I still think it has potential to improve, sometimes it takes me 6 ep to fully feel I'm into a drama.
On My First Love Feb 7, 2018
I liked that is was short, though I think 1 or 2 more episodes could have smoothed over some of the story gaps (non-time travel related) and allowed the last few episodes a little bit better construction. Overall it was a fairly decent drama, not epic but I enjoyed it,

It's always been 10. Every source but DF was wrong, MDL finally fixed it.
I copy and pasted this from DF's main page for the drama, It always said both 8 and 10 as shown.
However...there are other places on DF where it says only 10 episodes. It has always been ten but the 8 was placed there in error.

Heads up... in two weeks time...

Title Radiant Office Spoiler
Romance? Happy ending?
I would say yes for the most part it does have a happy ending, it also allows the audience to fill in to a degree how they see the future too. It's a sweet and funny story around some real life complex issues young Koreans are facing.

The leads have a slow paced romance that plays secondary to the office dynamics. You won't see a bunch of passionate skin-ship, it's more or less played out in the way they interact with one another through various problems they face in day to day. It's in the glances, acts of kindness, they way they protect and influence one another....It's realistic. It's clear they are feeling between them, but also being a boss and an intern, it is understandable the way the writer has the relationship develop.

It can be confusing because DF actually has it listed as both 8 and 10.

I don't care for melodramas, I'm a rom-com viewer but is now my all time favorite kdrama.
The story and the acting were both impressive. Junho blew me away, I really hope we see more of his acting before he goes into the military.

I thought episode 1 was a pretty intriguing opener. Good acting, interesting ish story and impressive cinematography.…
I read sometime ago, that the average person on MDL starts the ratings at 7 and then moves it up or down from there. I just looked at the stats above and out of the 14 people who rated only 1 person gave it a 1, another person gave it a 5, seems like the majority gave it an 8 or higher. I am guessing that person who gave it a 1, is pushing the reason the number is down.
I noticed the comments from people who have watched ep 1-2 on Dramafever, most seem to really like it so far.

To those who have access, the drama is available on Dramafever.https://www.dramafever.com/drama/5145/Spring_Has_Come/
Drama Fever has an agreement with MDL. For those who are in the USA, you can watch DF licensed dramas right here for free. You'll see them listed in a section right below the description box about the program. Keep in mind...They are usually uploaded a few days to a week after they air on DF, so there is a slight delay.

I liked Circle though it didn't leave me loving it as much as I anticipated at the start. Still a great drama, especially fo SCI-FI fans. Plus it's only 12 episodes so it makes nice sized weekend mini-marathon.

While You Were Sleeping could have been better, but I still enjoyed it. The chemistry of the leads was find for me. They not my favorite couple, I didn't dislike them either... The icing on the cake...was the second lead male who really shined the whole time.

Fighting my Way was WAY over-rated for me.. I struggled to get into it...I love rom-coms, I was bored. I eventually found my self dropping it for weeks at a time and then skipping ahead later on just to know what happened. Disappointment. I hardly ever drop a drama but this one made my list.

The Kings Woman.... I love the chemistry between the leads in other things they have done so I was looking forward to watching it. The set and scenery was beautiful, I loved the cast, but the story just became way to twisted... sigh...then it ended as all historical Cdramas seem to... Like a Shakespeare tragedy.

On the other hand the Cdrama A Love So Beautiful was a delightful easy watch...SO much better than ISWAK...

my favorite dramas of 2017_

Just Between Lovers - 2017 started _ one of the most impressive scripts and cast
Go Back Couple- LOVED this couple and the story.

Because This Is My First Life - Confronted several taboo topics in Korea head on. REFRESHING!

Suspicious Partner - The script had some flaws, but I still looked forward to it each week. It was nice to see Ji Chang Wook do lighter Rom-Com.

Radiant Office- This did extremely well in Korea, I don't think many overseas understood why.... It was labeled a Rom-Com, but the romance was really secondary. It's an office -comedy drama first with a light romance story woven in.
R.O. mostly focused on the mental pressure young people in Korea are currently dealing with and the corporate corruption when companies only hire through connections rather than qualifications. The topic of suicide, mental health, fighting to overcome all play a part in the central part of the story....The the romance slowly builds between the leads through a relationship of compassion and trust over passion. WHICH I find appropriate since they're being that he is an executive and she is an intern, but for those who need lots of skinship throughout this might not be your drama.

Introverted boss- This was another drama people either loved or hated. The start lost a few people, they were either confused or felt the lead actress was to much. The story was about a healing relationship between an extrovert and introvert balancing one another out.
It eventually the rough start got worked out and the story was really cute.
