Fluff, cute, but not without plenty of plot holes. Not great but not horrible either. Not that it really matters if the script is well written, there must have been a no-kissing clause some type of restriction on certain levels of affection. The leads often kissed one another on the cheek or forehead or they held hands. I don't recall any major kissing.
ALSO...I wonder what happened to the couple's dogs at the start of the story since his dog helped hers unexpectedly create a "family to be" near the very beginning of the story. They soon decide to send their dogs to be temporarily boarded, the female dog is stressed and taking it out on the male. The weird thing is....The dogs never return or are mentioned again. I find it an odd part of the script. What kind of "proclaimed" dog-loving pet owners are these people?
This became one of those dramas you should just fast forward everyone else and watch just for the leads.
Agreed. Other than the leads it's feels like just filler. I either skip or play on 2X mode for anything that is outside of the leads interaction or related to their work life. The friends and their relationships are not really worth my time.
So they start dating in episode 4, broke up in 6 and reunited in 8! Seriously?
It's not meant to be a typical romance. The relationships are centered on choosing an enduring love, one that decides to remain together even when knowing the one you love is daily required to sacrifice themselves for others. A selfless love that puts you and even your family secondary.
I watched 6 episodes, I can't get into this story. I loved the previous story in the series, Happiness Method...IT'S WORTH WATCHING. SO... I was hopeful.... In this case, the FL's character irritates me, no matter the grievances with the ML, I have a real issue with the fact she keeps bullying and repeatedly hitting him. PLUS His grandma is in support of her behavior. He can't hit her back or protect himself in any way. It's not cute or funny. If they showed a man hitting a woman people would be pissed off. Abuse is abuse, no matter the gender. To each his own, but this is not for me.

I just finished 12. I agree with the previous comment. The editing 1-2 was okay, 3 -4 it took a downturn. 5-6 time illogically jumped scene to scene. 7 tiny bit better. 8-12 the editing made a U-turn back in the right direction. I am hoping the last half will continue on this way... China's Communist Party is aimed at pumping up national pride and its values all of July which is why so many of the dramas feel like repeats of the same story. There is a goal attached. From what I read...The rescue missions and some of the couple stories are based on true accounts. Then is all fused together to create the script we see.
Editing sucks, things going on so abruptly jumping from one scene to another without any proper explanation plus…
I mentioned further down on the page, it's as if someone too a bunch of trailers for the drama and fused them together. It's crazy how many time jumps there are in one episode.
