Why do they make these FLs so dense! You can be inexperienced in love or relationships but still have intelligence…
The FL has asked the ML has more than once "who am I to you" , but only he makes mysterious statements or asks her questions about her feelings.
Even if a guy expresses he cares through various actions, it's not clear what his full intentions are until he states I like you and I want us to be together.
It doesn't help the situation when you're surrounded by people who tell you not to trust your feelings or the other person's actions.
She should trust the lead more, but there are logical reasons for her battle with doubt.
He needs to tell her directly how he feels and his intentions so there is no room for other voices.

I think he likes her - her character is super talented, beautiful, young and with the world open to her. He's…
I believe FXY motivations became twisted as soon as he discovered Tang had genuine feelings for her, but in the beginning, his interest in her was pure, largely in regards to her talent.
He may be playing the part of a love rival now to get back at Tang, but I wouldn't be surprised if ends up in a one-sided love trap of his own making.

I hope Mo Fei eats more french baguettes in Paris! The girl is bone thin!
LOL I was thinking the same thing, but the silly girl gave them all to her roommate. Plus those baguettes, really deserve the inclusion of some french butter or cheese.

I know, right...everyone's gotta be the PC police or something. And if they actually did watch the show, they…
Confidence has no color. I learned a long time ago not to let the world label or limit me just because of my dark hair, eyes, or skin color, even when my appearance has banned me from entering shops or I faced questioning stares from people on the subway. I made a choice in middle school I could either be a victim of this world or a master of my own path. People will brand you no matter if you are fat, skinny, short, tall, in style, not in style, your hair color, texture, education, religion, married or single, or your profession... I can't control other people's thoughts or actions but I can my own. It's up to each of us to live in those molds people put on us or break them. It up to each of us to decide our own worth.

It's not going to impact my life, either way, if you agree with me about this drama. I have said my peace and I will leave it where it is. If you watch it or not, that is your choice just as it is mine.

I do feel sad for you. I can tell you have a strong sense of social justice, which is admirable, but if you are not careful you'll become just like those you preach against.
People who depend on using insults like a weapon are no different than blowfish which puffs themselves up in self-protection. Any time someone uses racially charged labeling as an insult or makes a preassumption about someone's color, they're not making themselves appear smart or powerful, but rather exposing their own internal weaknesses. Hate only breeds hate.
People who are secure in their identity, don't need to defend their points by belittling others like children on the playground. They can be authentic and real, sharing their personal truth with other people while still honoring and respecting them, even if they disagree on certain points.
They can also walk away from a conversation in peace even if they are not understood or appreciated, and they can do so without taking everything the other person said personally.

This isn't a war, there are no winners or losers in a discussion. If you want to motivate people to change the system starting with the way people think, you need to change the way you use the language you are communicating in. Hurt people use words to attempt to hurt people. Angry people will rarely persuade others to see their point of view. Words have power but delivery is essential. Our hearts can easily twist a narrative we hear and what release.
A healed (emotionally whole and mature heart) person has the power to set people free.
I encourage you to start looking inward, before expressing your convictions outwardly, otherwise, all your efforts to motivate people will be in vain.

Anyway, I better tell my mom she has a "white" daughter, she's going to wonder where she's been hiding all these years, may need to change my birth certificate.
I wish you well.

"It's always white people like you who want to act tone-deaf to how dark skin people feel."

First, I never mentioned my skin color or my nationality. I only said I lived in Korea. You're making racist comments by presuming my skin color simply because I am not agreeing with your viewpoint and telling you to stop attaching western history to the problem of Thailand. Sorry to disappoint you...
My heritage is blended. I have lived in 14 countries on 3 continents. I have worked with refugees and immigrants from Asia, the Middle East, and Africa for many years. My circle both professional and personal is diverse with only 20 % being categorized as "white" or "mixed". I know first hand what it is to be judged or treated differently because of my exterior.

I am keenly aware there are 70 ethnic groups in Thailand and the problems with colorism. I have worked with Loas refugees in Thailand for several years. I will stand on the fact that classism has a much stronger foundation as to why this started in the first place and subconscious behavior to favor lighter skin, and that this isn't just an issue in Thailand alone but all of Asia, even if Thailand has its own specific variables around it. I also know it is a complicated issue, which has hurt people for many years. I don't want to discredit those who've been genuinely hurt by colorism.

I am not discounting that there are some who have been hurt or labeled in n the past by "colorism" are triggered by this connection. We all have different lenses and filters, we see the world through our own history, culture, life experiences, relationships, faith...so no 2 people will watch the same thing and have the same connection. After watching 14 episodes, I simply don't get the sense that the intention of the humor around the FL is to mock people of color, but rather focused her covering up her lies, where I would be more likely to say that of the previous version of this drama.

My main original point in commenting last time is that.... You're doing a disservice to yourself by misappropriating and apply the origins of the American minstrel shows to Thailand's classism problem.

Just because an MDL member or members don't share your viewpoint, it doesn't make them "white", a racist, a xenophobe, or one who celebrates people being mocked for their skin color two people on MDL, even when they agree will arrive at that conclusion for the same reasons. We all have different life and cultural experiences which shape our perceptions of what we see and hear and how we respond to it.
The moment you start making assumptions, presumptions, judgments, hashing out insults on strangers, you only discredit yourself and shut people's ears to you completely.

I know, right...everyone's gotta be the PC police or something. And if they actually did watch the show, they…
Minstrel shows belong to America, they have no legitimate context in Asian history or culture. It doesn't apply here.
When you misappropriate and twist the context to fit your own narrative, you've lost all the substance to it and future points you wish to make. It's called CLASSISM, not racism. . Lighter skin has been a desired beauty standard for hundreds of years, because wealthy classes sat in the shade, while the poorer working classes remained outside working in the heat getting tanned. Here in Korea, light skin is favored. It can't be labeled race, since everyone is Korean. This is the same all over Asia, China, Japan, etc... Skincare has been developed for generations to prevent or reverse the effects of the sun. Light skin was a sign of economic and social standing, thus seen as desirable and people still have this ingrained in their ideology.
The only way this drama can be labeled racist is if the FL were from another country and they made jokes about where she was from and her culture. The humor here has focused on her crazy antics not to get caught and her annoyance with the other characters and the with her. This is what makes her unattractive, it's her behavior and the crazy makeup falling off.

BUT....If you're so offended by it, write the tv network or don't watch it.
If you write the network, but be sure to make the correct argument about the context of the apparent problem. That person with less education and economic opportunities and labeling them as being stupid, unattractive, uncivilized, and uncultured.
Your point about minstrel shows and this being about racism have no merit.

This is clearly not directed at making fun of darker-skin tones.
The repeated humor here is centered on how the FL's makeup/disguise keeps coming off on the ML's clothing or on his hands. She also tends to wipe it off her own face or it melts off in the heat. In the end, her face becomes patchy. We see her scramble again and again not get caught. The male lead originally became suspicious, but now he's enjoying watching her try to keep up the charade to deceive him.

Overall, I'm enjoying this drama, even though it is pretty predictable which way the story will go.
It's not a fresh or new story, but the inclusion of the art of traditional embroidery, cloth-making, and design does give it a unique quality. Some of the outside set locations are beautifully presented.
I really hope the FL catches on quickly the intentions of the ML as well as not dragging out a long breakup before everyone ends up happy. I prefer when a couple fights together rather than getting torn apart by petty people and trivial arguments. I also like the brother a good deal. The CEO's female cousin was a bit irritating but I have a feeling she is maturing as the story develops. It's pretty obvious who the 3 cliche jealous trouble makers will be, one is really enough, alas it is a 45 ep drama so there can't be one instigator, can there be? I hope most of them can redeem themselves early on and not all the way at the end.

I am only wondering because...I noticed Dragon TV and it will air 2 ep per day WED-MON, but skip TUE completely.…
7 and 8 are on youtube today, it is also showing that 9 and 10 will air on Sunday. Is WeTV different?

Finished 6 eps! Now tell me why are we getting only 1 ep per day??? I waaaaant more!
I am only wondering because...

Sometimes when this happens the schedule online is changed to compensate for the skip day. The drama will still air 7 days a week, however, it ends up being 2 episodes, 5 days a week, and then only 1 episode on the other 2 days.
Also, there can be a small difference between how a drama is edited (the ending point of an episode), to accommodate for tv commercials. I think we will see the same 12 Ep airing each week as those on Dragon TV. I would still like to know where you saw we will only get 1 ep a day. If you don't mind.

Title Sunshine of My Life Spoiler
Why is this unavailable in my country on every platform ???? I've been waiting for it for ages
Use a VPN. Usually Youtube is pretty easy to watch if you set it to a different region.
