the opening scene has FL as an old lady, probably a widow, reminiscing her story with her good husband...since the drama covered years 1928- 48, i have a sad feeling, his life will be taken by revolutionary wars😪 so far, the telling of their story is beautiful

ml has a noble character despite his poverty ☘️ ml2 is well off and educated, but not acting very nobly towards the girl he married....☘️ this drama has few actors but is well executed, seasoned actors really know to act

some generals secretly saved few infants, but let other kids be slaughtered for fear they'd remember something....that general from hayia, maybe he didn't reveal his origins, so other generals didn't suspect him to lead the revenge 😉 he silently killed all the remaining men from that army, throughout many years 😉 Tong Shuan has 4 identities, but biologically he's Beiming's brother☘️and the scientist died with his wife in heyia, they lived there, while 2 of their sons were saved, Beiming and Baikun, their original names 😉

the romance of main leads is a joke 😃 really....this series starts with an unfinished wedding and ends with their continued marriage, but in between it's zero zero romance

basically it's a story of two genius brothers, Beiming and Baikun, sons of a genius medic scientist from Poison Valley....their dad's uncontrolled and untested invention, brought chain of disasters to Heyia village and unleashed a spiral of revengful crimes done by an army officer and politician, whose family roots were in Heyia village, yet he was ordered to slaughter his own......so the man called himself yesha and went on killing all army soldiers involved, in the span of few decades 🙄 since he was getting old, he groomed surviving Heyia orphan Baikun, to be another yesha exterminator, after his death, to finish the revenge 😉....this new yesha-Baikun wanted to be worshipped as a god, basically he turned lunatic nuts........i felt it rather a sad story, involving father and two sons

would be a bigger twist if his elder bro, was Little White dragon'..... maybe that general left one kid in poison valley and adopted Beiming only 😊... Poison Valley shifu might have changed kid's name?..... just a wild speculation, because i don't understand why would his bro become so evil and just continue killing.....yesha just carries out prince's order to kill all, and kill generals who would save infant survivors........ Beiming's dad didn't want to create monsters, his invention went out of hand
