ep 2... it's hard to get use to those historic scenes, where family punishment system was administered, for the fault of a high official...one male was convicted, and his whole family was cast in jail, murdered or exiled....

a well wrapped up melancholic-HE story for all the 3 couples, in the end...many characters have interesting storyline..... although many characters are annoying, some comic characters are introduced in the hope of colouring this sad narrative,with ML constantly dying throughout the episodes,as he's incurably poisoned-very similar narrative to Mysterious Lotus Casebook- only here,ML ends up alive guarding Qimu river and teaching new generations of martial artists...... this could be a great watch if not ruined -for me- by many boring procrastinated scenes and episodes, and ML sadly, melancholically portrayed as a pitiful dying patient, throughout the drama....... ML and FL end up being together but it's not clear for me if married... probably as friends for the sake of not transmitting weakened and mutated by poison DNA, to their would be future offspring 😜 the amount of melancholic sadness exhibited throughout the episodes, ruins even the final HE😜 it was supposedly filmed during COVID pandemic, so it explains the mood

cdrama world is filled with violence, usually... why not enjoy sth new and different?.. we're only in the 4th month.... there'll be plenty of violence Cdramas coming for ye 👻👻
