Apparently it's come out that Kim Sae Ron and Kim soo hyun were in a relationship since she was 15 and he was 27 which wasn't illegal in SK at the time because they only recently changed their age of consent laws from 13. This also meant that he took her into his agency.
However he supposedly had a hand in making her commit suicide because he was through his agency (that he owns) requesting money back that was paid to ksr drunk driving incident victims --->edit: as per the comment below, it was not the money for the victims he was asking ksr to repay but money for the penalty fees from her controversy messing up her show Bloodhounds and thus affecting his agency-----> and therefore forced her into bankruptcy because they broke up.
However this was also back in 2022/2023 so we don't know what happened between then and her unfortunate passing in early 2025.
I don't know if this information is all correct or missing something currently, but this is what I have picked up so far. She committed suicide on his birthday and people are heavily insinuating there was emotional abuse but we don't know. He also didn't go to her funeral

I think it depends on how you feel about jealousy and whether you like it on a man but not on a woman sort of thing. I think a lot of people probably feel the same way as you. For me I love both haha but I hate when it's uneven. It makes me feel like the ML looks desperate lol

Also despite what some comments are saying the art of negotiation is not bad at all. I wasn't going to watch it because I didn't think business was my thing, but then I heard the bgm was hilarious and I had to understand what people were talking about. I started it with the intention of dropping it once I got bored, but so far it's quite interesting and fun. It's not a show to just put on in the background though; you have to pay attention.

I finished it on 2x speed and actually quite like some of her character development even though she's still wishy washy. Very impressed with the finale episode. Overall decent. Probably wouldn't rewatch except for some ending scenes
