didn't kill ZHA immediately after capturing him? Arrogance or respect for opponent? It seems like YFS know ZHA…
Because only he knows where the deposed emperor (Xiao Wen Jing/fake Zhang Mo) is, and his identity as the only member of the imperial bloodline except Xiao Wu Yang makes him a very important 'pawn' in YFS's future schemes. That's the main reason.
I am guessing you have just started watching it, mind telling me where you are now? Because the character he is…
Oh! LLH/LXY is the crown in CY's acting career but I dare say XHA has the potential to replace him. If you dont mind, I suggest watch ep 16 (from 21:15 till 22:20), to see why Huai'an is different from his other characters but the downside is that you might get spoilt because of one of the dialogues. But do tell me if you still have doubts about him after watching it. š

The most recent drama that paid a lot of emphasis on his looks is 'Sword and Beloved'. Hi looks gorgeous there. Although I don't know if you will like the story cause I don't know your preferences and the middle episodes were not quiet well written. But here also in the hidden soldier alley arc he looks 'stylish' with black outfit and grey hair, I cant take my eyes off him. (starting somewhere from in ep 9 ig). But I would personally recommend this over SAB, after all style is not the only thing that matters.
Cheng Yi.. I just realized his facial expressions are same as in his previous drama,, maybe only me.
I am guessing you have just started watching it, mind telling me where you are now? Because the character he is playing is completely different from his past characters. He is no honest, righteous, kind hearted guy here. Even his expressions (creepy smile, bone-chilling stare etc. etc..) are.....i cant get the right words right now š®āšØš®āšØ, but they are great and I am seeing them for the first time.
This drama has NO LOGIC. Talking to villains and talking shit against each other faces
Well I don't understand which scene are you talking about. Are you talking about the last few minutes of episode 18 (But that talk also seemed to have made sense)? Because before that I don't remember anyone talking with the villains. Correct me if I am wrong...
Episode 14 was slow and nice. I feel it is a fresh of air after everyone just dropped dead left and right. I won't…
Yes, after what all happened the characters and viewers both needed time to settle down. And I am sure the storm of Huai'an's rage is going to burn down everything š š
"Try it!"In just seconds, Xie Huaian face turned from calm to eerie smile to cold anger to crazy laugh…
Indeed, totally unpredictable and I am loving it. First he threatened him with a deadly stare and when he agreed he calmly bowed before him while giving another threat šš
So did you finish the journey of the lotus casebook?? How was it so far??
Well if you want you can see 39 as well, it all happy vibes and ends all positive, just avoid 40 if you don't want to see them part. There is another twist waiting there for you in ep 39 if you are not spoilt about it already. And yes, TVOA is also great. I thought I saw you somewhere, so it was the comment section of TVOA!!
I'm on ep 9.So is this also like S&B after the 2nd half.š„²š„²
What?? NO, I didnt mean it that way. It doing GREAT so far. It just feels as if the story is divided into two parts. Part1- ep 1 to 13 and part 2- ep14 to 28. So from ep 14-15 it felt like as if they were introducing us to the new arc and the stakes, just like how a series start. If you still dont get me dont worry, once you reach there you will understand...
I swear if they had divided the series into two seasons (First:1-13, Second:14-28) it would have created a huge impact. It honestly feels like a season 2, introducing new characters, finishing off some overdue characters and showing the aftermath of season 1. From ep 16 everything starts gaining momentum again.
(I was honestly afraid after watching ep 13 because it was like a huge banger climax, and it somewhat reminded me how Sword and Beloved shared quiet similar trend, doing good till ep 13 with a climax.)
But I would personally recommend this over SAB, after all style is not the only thing that matters.
No wonder he fell in love with Chang'an all over again...
Seems like @vanniivanniii was destined to watch a CY drama this year...
