I think her character changed from a strong person to a person without backbone it's like she's completely blind in love. She was so righteous person and helped Qing in investigations but she's now become completely blind . As a wife she should guide her husband to follow right path but she's so deluded that ji yun is a dream come true man that she refuses to see his wrong doings even after seeing he poisoned Qing. If u look briefly qing's warmth and love made ji chu a caring person and influenced him to be on right path but Yao's love only made ji yun overconfident that he's a good man even though he's not because yao doesn't point out his wrong doings. So in conclusion the drama author wanted us as a audience to see how there are two sides of influence of love : 1) how it makes the other person a better human 2) how blind love encourages wrong doings

Yeah I loved how his character didn't changed drastically his personality didn't changed just his perspective changed and he understood love is greater than hatred.
