Very creative yet too slow to my liking
I never expected to like this series this much. I am obsessed with enemies to lovers and hear me out, this has one of the most creative enemies to lovers plots. Normally they're already good friends/lovers around episode 7 but these boys are still bickering at episode 11. I am obsessed with Noey and the characters but there's a small issue. Even though I really liked this serie, I disliked the acting a lot and it became a bit annoying.
The reason I like this show this much has to obviously do with the plot. I like enemies to lovers and I this serie got me locked in. I kinda had to push through the acting. It's extremely slow burn, although I normally don't like that, it was perfect for this series. It already felt like they were together and just expressed their love in such genuine and sweet ways. I'm not even joking when I say it was cute because this show made me like giggle and stuff omggg. I really love how much of a softie Noey became and he communicated everything so sweet. Storywise this is an extremely good BL. The character development that especially Noey goes through is very surprising. I sometimes cringed at Thi but he lowkey cute as well. The way his character was supposed to be this quirky type of person kinda made me irritated.
Never heard of TarBoom before but they're cute. I hope to see more of them but from what it looks like, we won't be seeing more. Their characters were amazing, however, I'm not a huge fan of the way they acted. It wasn't just TarBoom but also the other sides as well. I kinda had to push through. Ti just kept annoying me especially the way Bom acted. I'm not saying he's a bad actor but I think there is genuinely room for improvement. It might've just been the actual way he was supposed to act but it just pissed me off, especially near the ending. I can't lie but Bom/Thi is extremely cute though. I loved the dynamics between Noey and Thi but that's kinda it.
I think the plot was very creative but there wasn't much more to it. I'm surprised about the quality as well. It's in my opinion not as outstanding as other bl. Maybe it's because it was shot in 2022 but there is this clear difference between newer and CONSIDERATE older bl. When I found out Champ Weerachit was both the screenwriter and the director of this I suddenly got a lot more respect. This dude really improved especially when you compare this to weirdo 101. I love 2gether but it honestly feels a bit like the same trope. But as an enemies to lovers lover, they both hit rlly well.
I wasn't a huge fan of the ending and like I mentioned, it had room for improvement. But from the newer work of the production cast you can just see the improvement. I really hope we'll get another TarBoom series but I doubt it. I would say I' complaining more but I actually really loved it. But do not watch this for the quality but just if you wanna sit back and relax.
