I liked it wayyy more than i expected!!
Okay so, i was in denial for this one. I wasn’t sure how it worked and that took me a bit back from watching it. I was confused why there were 2 stories but after watching this one I think I know what’s gonna be different. But aside from that I wasn’t super excited to watch this, it looked boring. But after watching it IM IN LOVE. This serie was small, cutesy and not very confusing. It was so adorable… I don’t regret forcing myself to watch this anymore! Also just so you know, if you're as confused as me, this is basically the first part, the other star and sky is about the brother, but the events of this show have already mostly happened!
Deffo a reccomend!!

When the series loses it's plot
I know there's a lot been going on in idol factory lately and it doesn't surprise me either. With actors leaving and a new ceo etc. This is a series produced by 'copy a Bangkok' and honestly it was my second time hearing about them. I watched pretty much all of their series but most of them are dropped. Now let's talk about why I don't like this series. Please note that this is a personal opinion and I personally think you should watch it yourself to form an opinion.I've seen Nuttapart in mutliple series and I used to be quite a fan of him. His acting skills are pretty good but this series seems to ruin it and worsen it. I wish Poom had a better chance in a different company. His acting skills are genuinely good but the script doesn't make it look good. Here's the thing: Poom plays this stupid innocent boy. It feels like a very stereotypical bl bottom. I feel like the show wanted to show an artistic way of emotions with Poom. Given the type of shots they used. It doesn't work at all and it feels irritating to see him on the screen like that.
Now over to Ki Niwat Naknuan. I have not yet seen him in a good bl. I have seen both this bl and Interminable. Didn't like both of them but that doesn't mean his acting is bad. Once again, I have the same opinion with Poom. I feel like his role is super forced into making him this 'cool nonchalant' guy.
Unnecessary AI is also a thing that irritates me. Couldn't they find artists to hire? I just find this sad and I feel like the quality goes down from it aswell. Another thing is that it's not only bad looking but also extremely unnecessary and the whole dialogue under it aswell is... bad.
After watching the first episodes I had quite some hope but the more episodes came out, the more lost the plot got. Like everything changed and no word was spoken about certain subjects. Ofcourse, this has to do with the writing. I love to write and I'm not hating on the original creator but I feel like a lot of emotions and important details get lost through the show. As if they put the novel in ai and just let it write a script for them (which they prolly didn't)
After all, please form your own opinion. I wouldn't recommend this series but if you really wanna watch it I would say, go for it.

This is so much better than I expected
When I saw this originally I didn't really have the motivation to watch this. I was scared it was gonna be a way to big plot for a quite small series and the description was giving RED FLAG. But this is sooo adorable. The plot is indeed big, but they don't add weird side stuff, and stick to the plot. It also doesn't randomly change in the middle of the series. The couples are suchhhh green flags and adorable. I do kinda hate the part where Wela is to 'busy' with his hosting job, but I do get it at the same time. THE MOMS are sooo supportive, I also like how later on in the series, people change their views on Host clubs. I just wish this was lowkey real.I loved all the side couples as much as the main couple but I am sad that the threesome/polycouple is a couple where to are in love with one and not everyone in love with everyone, BUT POLY REPRESANTATION? THAT SO RARE, I loveeee it!!
Overall, one of my new fav's!! I won't be getting over this Bl for months and it's gonna be in my head 24/7.

This was so adorable
This series was absolutely hilarious, in a way it sometimes made me feel embarrassed. I haven't really watched a bl in months that made me giggle, not skip and in adore. This series made me laugh so much. It's cute and soft. Especially in the beginning I was extremely embarrassed by hill. I can't really judge the series by this, but the use of AI is annoying me so much, I bet there's many artists out there who would love to make the designs for the series... I'm glad that, I don't think they did, they didn't use ai for Yuka-chan.Anyways aside from that, I really love the way everyone at the office hipped them at the beginning and it made them fall in love, I kinda missed the falling in love part since it wasn't super strong but after art came at least for Hill it seemed to increase and he finally realised it, lowkey, thanks Art. Anyways I loved how funny the office was, THE SECOND HAND EMBARRASSMENT THO....
I was quite surprise Junji liked it? Well I mean it's fine, but I was really expecting Junji to fire Hill. Anyways, with these types of Bl, I can just correctly guess what is gonna happen... but that didn't really ruin this series for me. I really like how Junji is such an understandable character. Like why was bro not mad at Jeans? Anyways both are extremely green flags, I like that :3

Not much to say except typical Ao3 y/n plot.
Another K-bl and I keep on complaining on the same things. Korean bl clearly doesn't understand how to make their stories realistic and I do not like it. Basically the whole club being sold to a big ent company is a fun idea and very creative how they thought of an 'idol ish' football club. But this is just giving the typical 2010's harry style fanfic. Do Ji being a fan and everything and then randomly his 'idol' shows up...I fucking love sport bl's, especially when they use a sport that isn't overused like basketball. I used to play basketball but I'm tired of the amount of times they use basketball as sport. But, soccer however, is never used. It's very original for a bl to use soccer as a sport. I really love this.
I love how Yoo Gang was an idol just like some other members because they just added some scene's I found funny/recognisable. Like how Yoo Gang Jae does the complete opposite of what he says in interviews. And I'm giving an extra point because EXO FIRST SNOW DANCE. And why can these actors dance this good?
I'm gonna be honest, with so many players everything started to get really confusing. They kinda all exist and it's hard to remember their story lines because they're being thrown at us. Also, it wasn't clear to me which role who had, especially on the field. Like who does defence and who is where?
A very slight thing that I won't count for my review this time, maybe I'm not right but the music in this sounds VERY ai generated. The English sounds so weird and the beats make no sense. It could just be lowbuggeted music but there's something off from it. Another thing, which I also won't change my final rating is the English translation. It was irritating cuz it covered my whole screen whenever they pulled out their phones. It's okay because this was the translation company fucking it up but it was really annoying how I had to pause it to be able to read what was going on.
What confused me the most is no training and no practice match? This is just really weird to me. I get that they had limited budget because this is a low budgeted series but like the only practise I've really seen is tricks? Like cool but when are you actually gonna practice? Especially for the 'idols'. Yes, they had like 1 match in the beginning. The whole plot was all over the place like what was going on bro? The time skips were so fucking unnecessary and just typically Korean... Not only that, the romance was lacking, barely any chemistry and it took fucking 8 episodes for a little romance? I liked Do Ji U and Yoo gang together but the side characters? Don't even understand what happened there.
It's low budgeted, which I genuinely don't care about but it's still mid. Low budget doesn't mean it's mid and could be really well if they just thought about shit. Like location and timeline.

Simple yet good.
Another K-BL and I'm starting to get anxious about watching them because I've seen so much bad rather than good. What I like about Korean Bl's is that they're sooo short so I can easily finish the series if it ends up being bad lmaoo. This series however, wasn't bad, unlike the others. It was simple but extremely good. I love how it strictly followed its plot and didn't add unnecessary things. This series got me surprisingly locked in. I was really curious whether or not to trust Jin Hwan and I just purely watched to see if Min Ju would forgive him just for the story to take a small turn. I just kept on wanting more of those flashbacks and I wanted to see more of the actions Jin Hwan did towards Min Ju and I kept on getting more curious.
They really left me on a cliffhanger and I just didn't believe Jin Hwan at first, he seems so sketchy and just... yeah. He just doesn't seem like someone I would trust either. Another thing to add to this is how I actually didn't expect Min Ju to forgive Jin Hwan and Jin Hwan was soooo fucking sketchy like everything he excused made 0 sense and honestly I assumed he was lying about everything.
Acting is really good, they really got me especially Chae Jong, It's sad he hasn't really been in any series or movies this year. I really look forward to see more of him. He might be the reason I was so locked in, he was truly captivating. I'm not even joking I was mesmerised at how good he acted the feelings out. What I also really liked was that he made it feel real, not the other characters (Sorry Seong). Feel like I can relate to Kim Min Ju extremely. I always have that feeling of not feeling good enough for someone. I also dated a popular dude years ago and I felt exactly how Min Ju felt, like I could be replaced any moment and I was scared he would stop liking me, but I also didn't wanna be to clingy to him.
I have read the Manhwa years ago so I don't remember much and I can't compare them but I am planning to reread it for sure to be able to differentiate between them. I do remember really like the Manhwa, it's sad I didn't know about the live action earlier.
I'm gonna be honest, on some aspects the series is good but could be improved, like more episodes and more character to the locations, but that's something I always like. Even if I think the surroundings were extremely empty I also like it at the same time because that empty love really goes well on it. I would've loved longer episodes and more in depth characters, especially side characters like the best friends of Jin Hwan. I think they didn't give us proper background information to add to that 'emptiness' but I'm just saying it would've been nice. .
I'm gonna be honest I was expecting them to get married hahhaha, but eyyy at least they cleared up their arguments.

Very different than cutie pie
Did I rewatch cutie pie and cutie pie 2 you purely for Naughty babe?? Definitely. I watched cutie pie when it was airing and after it was finished I had seen the show 4 times, having to rewatch everything for Naughty babe. I kept forgetting to watch naughty babe and just rewatched cutie pie over and over again (yes stupid). After watching cutie pie 1 and 2 I was kinda confused about the relationship between Khondiao and Yi. Like they had subtle foreshadowing like Khondiao losing his memory etc but I just couln't help but be confused. Why were they married and what was exactly going on between them? Maye I wasn't really well focused on certain details but I also kinda forgot what Khondiao studied.
Anyways in my opinion this series is wayyyy more funnier than cutie pie, although I'm not sure whether or not I should compare it. I loved this series extremely and if I can be honest... more than cutie pie. Season 1 feels veryyy serious and Khondiao and Kuea are both portrayed as the 'innocent' boyfriends. However both of them had changed in this series. Kuea seems to be wayyy less 'cute boy' ish, probably because he's able to be who he wanted to be. And Khondiao is explained so much better and not just from a 'therapist friend' kinda way.
I loved the clear friendship between Kuea and Khondiao anddd between Yi and Kilen. Kuea showed this season how he also returns the advice he got from Khondiao. What I miss is the friend group from Kuea but I also realised that Khondiao is not really involved with them. It was nice to also get introduced to Khondiao's friends ESPECIALLY when Winner came up (Kong). Also surprised to see Est play his first bodyguard role hahahha. I only know Est from his iconic Mok and not On. Never expected he did a side character who was also a bodyguard.
Kinda confused at one point because they keep leaving out the part about Kuea's aka Kirin's singing career. Like it's kinda disappointing they kept it such a low topic since I'm a huge fan of Nunew's singing career. And his song ไอ้คนน่ารัก.
Extremely cute how they formed a family at the end and I was to be honest kinda expecting the dad of Chun to push Khondiao to adopt Chun or like get between Phayak and Khondiao. Thank godd that didn't happen.

If you wanna make a complicated plot, then don't make the series so short.
This is a complicated plot. If u wanna make such a plot make longer episodes, It could be so much better. I see a lot of people talk about the acting but not gonna lie, the acting is not the best but I guess it's alright. My main problem with this series is that everything seems rushed and low budget. I don't mind low budget movies or series, because they can be extremely good too, but the amount of episodes x the playtime is making me cry. The plot is nice, but they used a very short series to work it out. If they made even the slightest change, like each episodes 10 minutes, it would've been such an improvement.Overall, I liked it but it lacks lore and plot, and it could be at least a bit longer.

Rewatched it 2 times, this is and stays one of my comfort shows
Holy sh1t, where do I begin... first time I watched this, it was extremely confusing, I had no idea what was going on and I just didn't understand the lore. But the thing is, that doesn't matter, this show is about Khanin, who is new to the nation of Emmaly, just like us lol. Even though he grew up hearing about it, it is also his first time coming there. Everything is and will be exlained, aside from that, I was personally really confused with which region was which and who ruled which. But based on the colours of their suits, you can tell them apart. Now for my second rewatch, I really enjoyed it more than the first time, even though nothing was new, I felt like I understood the series so much better. It was just clearer and still as comforting as the first time. The main reason I love this series is because of the SUPER well written side characters, the story follows a pretty realistic timeline and Khanin and Charan's relationship was soooo adorable. Also I love ZeeNunew and they definitely did a good job once again! :3

Not your average bl
Trigger warning before watching this series: cutting on human skin, drugs, dead (all fake ofcourse)Trigger warning for my own review: killing mentioned.
Not sure what to expect, 8 episodes for a plot like this sounded like it might lack plot. I loveeee a bl with interesting tags and storylines, since it's quite rare, so I was afraid those 8 episodes would be way too few. I did really like the whole doctor x police trope and suspense mixed with bl. I wasn't the biggest fan at first since in my opinion, the Intro is extremely ugly and I'm not a big fan of the Background Score they used, it annoys me. But this is a series you will binge and you will get more and more curious
Extremely well done introduction of the characters, often you kinda have to figure out who has what role but it's very clear from the start, which is nice when it comes to these type of mystery series since usually it can be extremely wary. I'm gonna be honest I did not trust Dr. Kantaphat since the beginning, the way he acts, the way he is linked to certain deaths is.. let's say weird, but he did seem genuine when it comes to his patient, like he actually cares for them.
The way the actors acted made it feel incredibly real. And I mean really real. I fucking love how serious and well done they act. Even one small emotion on their face can make you feel different about them. I'm so in love with the acting Jesus Christ, I would watch this series again pure for the whole acting.
Through the show you'll keep suspecting Dr. Kantaphat, I'm not giving a major spoiler on who ended up being the killer but I was super confident it was Dr. Kantaphat. Not only because of his actions but his acting aswell. At the beginning of the first episode I actually didn't suspect him BUT around the ending of the first ep I was SO confident it was Dr. Kantaphat. Later on In the story I feel like the whole killing that PROBABLY Dr. Kantaphat was actually with good intentions of not wanting any other patient to die in pain. I felt like Wasan's mom might've been killed by Dr. Kantaphat aswell. I have no more comment on this since the spoilers.I was confused whether or not probably Dr. Kantaphat actually cared about the pain or was it really just a murder.
One of the things I've mentioned before but will mention again is something I'm not a fan of in this series and that is the sound effects and music. There is a clear overuse of sound effects and even if it does work quite often, sometimes it becomes to much. As if 1 episode has at least 30 minutes filled with background music.
If you are a big romance fan I do not necessarily watch this for the romance. Yes, the acting is good so you notice clear attraction, BUT you can notice Wasan ALWAYS suspecting Kantapat. I love the conflicted emotions he has. What I don't really like about Wasan is his lack of empathy in certain moments, he can only think about the whole 'rules' and 'police' thing and it fucking irritates me.
Ending broke me, but you have to see it for yourself. In my opinion this is one of the most underrated pieces out there. My poor friends WILL hear about this series.

Regret not watching it earlier
Had this series on my list for a long time, and I mean like, ever since it released. I wanted to watch something new and remembered this was still on my list. Now I regret not watching it earlierrrrrKIT IS SO ADORABLE UGHHH THE FIRST TIME I SAW HIM I WAS GOING CRAZZYY. Like all of the characters/actors look so unique with their own style and I love the concept of them being able to wear their own clothes, since that normally isn't accepted in Thai schools. The outfits helloooo?? Im jealous I need those fits!! ESPECIALLY PER AND TAR'S. LIKE IM THINKING ABOUT SCREENSHOTTING SOME OF THE BEST FITS AND RECREATE THEM BROOO. Typical cute gmmtv doodles in the intro and outro I LOVE IT
The teachers were so adorable, I loved their dynamic and I loved how they were like the comfort teachers of the school. They were so healthy aswell it was so cute!!
Using ai for animation mayor.... even if some of the work wasn't it, I don't like the idea. I'm on an art school and I know it takes a lot of time to make something. Would've been nice if they asked their creation team to make something like those doodles?
A lot of reassuring talking, romantic interactions but barely any kisses or a NC scene but it doesn't feel off, I prefer it. I like how it actually feels like teenagers having a fun time of their lives and romance being a big part in it. I normally don't mind NC but I think their choice not to add it makes it better.
This felt like I was part of the friend group, it was sooo heartwarming. Just found family. I like how the multiple couple plot didn't get like, mixed and it was actually a veryyy good story line. Small note: Tar and Per moments were cute but I would've liked more interaction between them.
I rarely give a 10/10 these days but this series REALLY deserved it.

Messy friend group and rage baiting, but still a 10.
I'm kinda just rewatching my old favourites and specifically this one since they announced another season (which I am really excited for). I remember that the first time I watched this, I was extremely confused about the plot. OST is still peak after years tbh. Today actually, the new post for only friends: dream on dropped and I'm asss obsessed as with this series OST.Boston is such an asshole and wtf was he even thinking? He has a boyfriend but cheats? Bro is clearly not interested in settling down like the rest of the group. Nick is kindaaaaa (really) blind and stupid for not noticing / not allowing himself to accept Boston's red flags and ignoring them.
Here is kinda something that might not be a very popular opinion but even first watching this, I was kinda irritated that they kinda kept pushing Mew to lose his virginity. This whole friend group is fucked in general but like.. why tell some random stranger that he's virgin CMON.
Im quite surprised that Gmmtheev made this THIS smutty and especially didn't expect it for Neo. I don't mind at all of course but.. yeah. One thing I gotta say; I feel bad for the woman under Gmmtv. Namchueam definitely deserved more screen time with her girlfriend etc. It's just soooo common for this to happen. I just want more gmmtv series where there's actually another MAIN couple that is wlw.
Love seeing Jennie Panhan in this series. I love trans representation and I hopeee Gmmtv actually gives her a main role. She's one of my favourite actors aswell.
I love how khaotung always has this type of role who loves teasing, loves older songs and don't get me started on how they dress him, aaahhhh. I also noticed the destroy love logo on khaotungs jacket in ep 7 hahahaha. I just love Khaotung and felt so bad for Ray. I understand his friends but like.. they were kinda assholes towards him. Leaving him to be. At the same time I get they also wanna live their own lives.
I like this messy ass friend group and that's why this series is one of my favs. I love how basically everything goes wrong and I loveee angsty stuff. I'm so excited for the next season!!

This has become my favourite bl ever.
Sometimes you don't expect things from a bl and it ends up becoming your favourite. For me that's the case with Sotus. It's been populair for many years now and I always heard of it but never watched it. Such amazing character development for "Oon" Arthit Rojnapat. Also it was absolutely adorable with a very amazing slow burn. What I also really like is that they actually included the feelings gay people might have when they realise they like the same gender.Insane good slow burn, most of the time it just feels like waiting and waiting before a couple gets together but this whole series didn't make me feel like I was waiting. Oh yeah and maybe one of the most important parts, it made me feel wayyy too many emotions at once. I'm absolutely not an emotional watcher and I barely feel anything when watching most series, even if it's a sad moment. BUT THIS SERIES?! Jesus my tears were like all over my pillow lmao.
Anyways, it also made me like so nervous because, in the beginning I wasn't able to figure out who would end up with who lmaooo. This I now my no.1 series and I'm so glad that I ended up watching it anyways.

Simple, cute and silly bl
If you like cozy, comfy bl's without to much drama this should be your thing!! Even better, both male leads are complete green flags and everything is about consent. I loved their relationship. Personally, one of my favourite genre's in Bl is a 'forgeiner' or a 'tourist' getting to know a small village. I love how Tongrak acted like the rich guy in the beginning and slowly started to change.AND THE LESBIANS, so cute, not a very good story but they do make the story so fun!

Masterpiece
Rewatched this again since I'm kinda organising my old reviews (you can view the old one at the end of this review). I wanted to write it again and just watch it again because I genuinely forgot what it was about. I slowly remembered the plot hahahah. I did forget most scene's though.First off all, Khai is even DUMBER than Adrien from Miraculous, Jesus Christ. I obviously get he wasn't thinking about anyone around him due to him dating so many girls. But like... ur best friend makes VIDEOS about movies involving having a crush on your best friend. Your friend kinda gives you.. way too much attention just to treat him like an asshole. The scene with the water in ep 1 stays iconic after all these years.
Just like in my old review, I really agree this is a super sad masterpiece. I just don't agree with old me calling it 'accepting yourself' because fucking Khai did accept his feelings quite after the realisation. Khai is not only stupid but also an idiot (HXW mentioned). Khai was fucking rage baiting me.
Third had all rights to be upset over Khai's actions. I love this type of angst and I think this is one of the best unrequired love situationships ever. Even if it's been 7 years (JESUS 7 YEARS SINCE 2019 IS INSANE) it is and stays a masterpiece that many unrequited love plots CANT reach. It would be amazing if there was a newer show based on this series. One thing about this series that they try to kinda make a plot but quite failed is the whole rule Khai has about "no dating friends" policy. It's not like this was often talked about or whatever.
I know it's 2019, and even if I was a teenager back then, it was a veryyy cringy way of asking someone out, even for those days. I fr loved everything but this. Also Third should've just taken revenge for this part and I expected third to make Khai jealous by flirting with another guy but eyyy I predicted it wrong.
Old reviews: This one is to real, the story is sad and I think it's an absolute masterpiece. This series portraits accepting yourself in a realistic way. It's sad, I cried my heart out, it's adorable, it's a sad mess. As a gay guy I feel like the show did a create job when it comes to reality, the jealousy, the fights and aside from that I loveee the main actors, OffGun.
