It's a pretty good story, just a few things...
One of my favourite bl pairings is TutorYim, lately, they have been in many great bl's, unlike, in my opinion, back in the days. I loveddd this story and as a writer with 5+ years of experience it also made me really inspired. In the first episode they clearly used ai, I think that's a bit disappointing but I never saw it again after that, I think they realised their mistake. One of the things I find rather disappointing is that it's super hard to follow the story they're writing, it's really unclear and just feels like small fillers. I just wish it was more clear what the Storie were about instead of just random scene's.Aside from that, this is one of my favourite tropes, and I still very much love this series. there's just a few disappointments but I do recommend this series!

WHY DID THEY RUIN THE SHOWW
I loveeddddd season 1 from 'what the duck', it was simple, cutesy, adorable and in general sweet. I was sooo waiting for them to get together but turns out they add more confusing drama. In season 1 i didn't get confused at all but all of the sudden there's this random couple or sm and like whyyyy did they do this to my cuties. IM MAD. LET THEM BE HAPPY. ITS MALE LOVE MALE NOT MEN LEAVING MEN.Was this review helpful to you?
Disappointed...
I had high exceptions for this one since it's hyped up. lot, but I kinda disappointed myself. I love the concept from Vice Versa, the plot Is pretty good and just the idea behind it. The actors ware also good at their job. But one problem.. it was extremely boring. I almost skipped half of the story because of boredom, and ngl, it didn't feel romantic at all. I still liked the show, but like I said, mostly because of the plot.Overall, yes it was cute, just boring most of the time, they really wasted potential. :(

I had this on my planned to watch way to long and kept pushing it away..
I was scared before starting this series. It looked low budget, boring and I was afraid the story was nothing for me, turns out, it's pretty much the opposite. When starting this series, I did dislike the designs of the penguins but after letting that go the series was amazinggg. It wasn't low budget, I do wished they had made the school a bit more mysterious but it was enough. It wasn't boring at all! It was pretty obvious what the story was about and I never got confused either.I personally didn't expect this but I'm really happy I watched this in the end! I especially suggest this BL if you're just getting into BL, it's not complicated, it's cute and a slight bit of angst.

It was a bit toooo silly :3
I normally like most cringy bl’s and I personally wouldn’t call this one cringy since it’s not that bad. But the humour in it gave me second hand embarrassment. Actually not only the humour but also Almond acting all innocent even though we all know that feels forced.Overall, i loveee the plot but it feels to embarrassing to watch. I did really enjoy it though because it’s pure humour! It was also really cute! My other reason for disliking this one, is that i didn’t feel so connected to Thanwa and Peak. I was sooo into the story of Almond and Latte though! I just totally forgot about themm…
Anyways, i wouldn’t say it’s bad and i would recommend it to the right type of people, but i think this is a very specific genre of bl’s. Have fun!

I didn't expect this to be so good!
A lot of times when there are multiple main couples, I get really confused on who is who. Especially if they also add other SIDE couples. But this one was genuinely good and I never wondered who who was. I was afraid I was gonna be confused, especially since watching Gen Y.This story was sooo sweet, I love the characters although in the beginning I was lowkey irritated at Ter but I'm gonna be honest, I slowly started liking him more while watching him. The shipping for some of the side characters was bad tho and I'm sad we haven't really gotten an actual confessing scene in this season but I heard (I'm not sure if they still plan to) that they wanted to make a second season so I'm gonna have hope for them.
Another thing I didn't really like is whyyyyyy did the characters have no relationship yet and acted like it the whole time and then act stupid or scared when having to confess, like brooo don't worry he liked you to alright?
Anyways aside from that, this story was honestly super adorable but the story just fails :P

This is confusing....
I'm not so used to watching a smaller bl series that mainly focusses on a sweet relationship. One with barely any drama. Now, I don't hate this series, but I am disappointed. I was expecting something more. The plot was overall confusing... I'm not sure what to make of it. Even after finishing the series it was still unclear. How did the main couple meet? Why did he live alone? It felt like this show doesn't care about the plot, but about the cuteness of their relationship.I'm kinda disappointed but this wasn't SUPER bad.

Amazing, never expected to love it sooo much!
I usually rewatch a lot of stuff and I'm kinda making reviews on stuff I've seen some time ago. So here is my second review!! Leaving my first review in here because I think it's kinda cute. First of, Is babe fucking blind? Charlie is hella suspicious at first already. How can Babe let Charlie in his life so easily... brother took him to the club with him after a one night stand first meet up.. insane what. Especially with the fucking behaviour Charlie put up in episode 2 at the beginning.Tbh I wished they added some omega's or something to the whole omega verse plot. It kinda feels like there's only alpha's in the whole universe. Like is everyone alpha or what helppp. Also uhh, I understand this is a Bl but where are all the woman at? Not even a side character that was a woman. No hate.
Tbh I just wished to watch this for the first time again. I know all the spoilers now but It's extremely nice to watch it without. I remember being super invested in this. Would I recommend it? Not to everyone, I think this is one of the bl's you just NEED to like when it comes to the genre.
I personally think this is a very interesting series especially with the amount of plot turns.
Alright,
with this one, I was very unsure if I'd like it. I don't hate the genre with cars, but it's such a common genre I was kinda pushing this one away due to it. To be fair I hadn't read the tags good, I didn't know this was omega verse, I personally love omegaverse but if it's not your thing, I don't recommend watching it.
For me, I think I REALLY liked this Bl because the whole plot is sooo different than other Bl's. Alpha x Alpha, Is quite rare and the whole drama about the dad and the adopted children was also really original. Overall I really enjoyed it because nothing was to be expected, it was really original. Normally I prefer silly bl's over serious once, but I'll make an exception on this one.
Only weak point was the racing, it was filmed extremely good and it being it their made it also more enjoyable, but the races were just bad, the cars looked like they were driving 20km per hour. Besides that, I loved this, deffo gonna rewatch!!!

I liked this season more than the first
I’m gonna be honest, I was really done w gen y the first season, especially at the end and almost dropped it. But the second season changed that for me, not only did it clear up the confusing ending but it also added some super sweet moments.I didn’t expect it to clear up for me, since the reviews weren’t super positive about the second season. But my rating for gen y went from a 6 to a solid 8.
But my favourite couple stays Kit and Mark, they’re not that confusing and i loved their little moments in this season.
I loved it!

Cute, adorable and simple
I was a bit scared starting a Korean bl, since I'm used to Chinese censorship, I was scared that Korea might also sensor bl's, but surprisingly not!! (thx Korea)But I LOVEDDD the title, it sounded cute, interesting and I always like neighbourish romances. I definitely didn't expect being soo into this drama! It was slow, cute and just adorable. I was scared that they might have a more bromance relationship but I find it so cute how they also shared small kisses etc.
Definitely not what I expected! Really recommended for newer bl watchers, since it isn't long or extremely fast, this bl took me back to when I started watching bl's (2019). The story is simple to understand, easy and also some funny things in there, not just serious drama.

Confusing - ?✨ ??
I watched the whole series, in the beginning It genuinely has good introductions of the characters but later in the series they keep adding more and more characters and ships. Normally, I like it when a series has multiple ships, but here it gets just so confusing, it's not just 2-3 ships but like 5, and all have drama :(I still rlly liked the main couple but even so, the whole side ships and characters just makes it hard to watch. I personally already expected multiple ships, but not in this way, which is completely my fault btw. I still love it, and that won' t be taken away, but I prefer the series with only kit and mark's ship... :3
(I haven't watched season 2 yet when writing this review)

The opposite of what I expected
This was a really cool series and something totally unexpected. I have a bad habit on picking movies or series based on their poster. This series came across my fyp on Netflix once and I just couldn't help it so I immediately put it on my list. Some time past and I realised I forgot to watch the show, so here I am. I am genuinely surprised, mainly because it's an Netflix original. Look, Netflix makes good shows for sure, but a lot of times I just don't like them. Aside from that, this is an amazing series, actually fun and I love the plot. One thing I always appreciate is a good character introduction. I never questioned who did what and what their backstory was. In the beginning I was a bit confused about the amount of characters but after a bit it starts making sense. I was irritated by Chae Ni in the beginning. Her behaviour just pissed me off but after a few episodes she seemed stronger and I started liking her more. The character development is insane here. After Chae Ni, Gyeong Un and Kang Ro Bin find out about the wonder kids they just seem different. More mature, more locked in and their motivation to work for Lee Un. I was confused what power each one of them had but I loved how I figured that out around the same time as they realised it.
The production of this is soo good, I'm in love with it. I don't watch many Kdrama's and prefer Thai drama's but this show is just... amazing. The director, Yoo In Shik has made a lot of shows that I want to watch like Extraordinary Attorney Woo. I'm just surprised by the clean transitions. I really like certain shots and some scene's. I'm actually rlly surprised about the quality of the series and it is way nicer than I expected. The composer is amazing with a huge portfolio aswell. I'm a big fan of the intro with the cool stop motion and art done.
The reason my review is a bit lower than others is because I did feel bored in the beginning, especially the first episode. Actually, I was about to drop it after the first episode. The only reason I stayed was her wish to travel and I expected her to. Kinda disappointed she didn't. But then after the surprise of the powers, I started getting very locked in. I have to admit that I had trouble staying focussed and wasn't binge watching it like I usually do. I also stayed for the romance between Lee Un Jeong and Eun Chae Ni. Actually, I didn't ship them at first and didn't even expect any romance but something in Lee Un's eyes gave off some adore sooo I could't help myself. But don't watch this series for romance. Not gonna lie, for humour this really wasn't for me. I rlly loved the friendship between Son Gyeong, Kang Ro Bin and Chae Ni but the jokes just didn't hit for me. Maybe I'm just to much of a serious person... Also the plot for the grandma was confusing me, like she did what, huh?
I'm disappointed in Lee Un Jeong... why did he do that????? Honestly, his character confuses me a bit. I find him insanely handsome and I just assumed he was an introvert. His backstory is really sad but I'm just confused why he sent Chae Ni to those ppl for her heart. Maybe I just missed a detail I was honestly very distracted unlike other times when I watch series. Also why did he suddenly regret it?? Anyways... his looks bro. I just didn't like the ending. Too much new plot and just got confused over and over again. This is just not for me.
Overall, I expected them to travel and not this dark. I did really enjoy this but it was hard to get through. But it might be because it's not my usual genre. Please watch it yourself to form an opinion!!I hear a lot of people talking about wanting a 2nd season, honestly, I would love that even if I didn't like the series that much. I rlly hope they'll actually travel the world if there comes a season 2. Anyways, I enjoyed it but it was not my type of drama.

It's.. not amazing
I was really excited for this one, I had read the reviews of which, many, were not so positive. But I was just excited for the Story and I think I disappointed myself a bit. Although I really like cringey, school drama's, this went a bit too far. But that should not stop you from watching it!I personally really disliked the first episode, it was chaotic, no background information at all, just Dermden picking up a cat, taking it home and it turns into a human. I don't have a lot against this type of trope and I actually read quite a few bl manga with this idea, but the way the actor was dressed.. made me dislike it. It looked non profit. The ears didn't match his hair colour and it just looked fake.
The 'innocence' started irritating me next, I don't care about innocent people, but he acted fake, like a pick me guy. I know the series could've been good if the relationships and personalities didn't look so fake and forced.
Recommended for realllyyyy new beginners but aside from that.. not my thing

My comfort series.... I miss them
Last summer 2025 was extremely nostalgic to me. I can't think back without thinking about Revenged love. To me, this series is everything. I was finally out of long years of depression and this series had such an impact on me. I don't think there will ever be a series that holds this much of my emotions and memories. I think a lot of Revenged Love fans think the same as me. I had told myself from the beginning that I would rewatch this but I decided to wait a full year. I'm currently in France for vacation and decided it was finally time. This is gonna be a long review I'm so sorry hahahha. When the opening credits began I lowkey started crying bro, like the song, everything, it's just nostalgic. I didn't even expect me to get this emotional about it. The shots of the actors playing and everything. The nostalgic playing in the water and the colour grading. This series is so refreshing. If you've seen the Lorax, it feels like opening a water bottle. It's very simple and not even super special and I'm not sure why it makes me so emotional or holds so much memories.I watched this on vacation in Germany and a fun fact, this rewatch was on vacation in France.
One of the things that makes me sad till this day is Zi Yu. He was abused in his past idol group but suddenly blew up. What I love about Zi Yu is that he apparently wears his own clothes through the show and a lot of fans, including me, used to see resemblance between Zi Yu and Wu Suo Wei because they are a bit alike from personality and backstory. He got abused in his old idol group. I do feel a bit sad about his sudden rise in fame given that he has extreme sasaengs and is followed everywhere, even a year later. He and Tian will probably never meet again, because it's China. But it makes me so sad given that there were clearly some genuine feelings in the BTS. I'm not saying they're actually gay but they did really seem to like each other and be each other's partner in the series. The way they didn't expect it to blow up and it actually did makes me feel so glad for both of them. Zi Yu's expressions are soo iconic and just meme worthy and I used to only use revenged love memes because I just find them cute. I wanna put Wu Suo Wei in my pocket omg he is so cuteeeee. Maybe a lot of people disagree but this bl changed Chinese bl industry lot and a lot has aired since. I really hope coming bl series will even give the actors the opportunity to be in other bl and maybe even stay as a pair.
About the side characters and their actors I will have to admit not being very educated on it. Maybe I phrased that weirdly. The first time I watched Revenged love I actually had zero interest in the story between Cheng Yu and Xiao Shuai. But now that I am rewatching I loved it. I didn't know that the actor of Xiao Shuai also played in another bl (moon and dust), which is insane. I really like the side characters and I love the fact that Cheng Yu, to my opinion, is a huge green flag. Both him and Xiao Shuai fit so well together with personalities and it's just the sweetest. I am obsessed with Liu Jun's visuals although I hated Wang Shuo. Actually, Wang Shuo was a really nice character but only after the last episode. I think he was just mentally unstable and although I didn't know what he had. I searched it up and it was apparently bipolar. I think by far the character I hated the most was Yue Yue, this girl pissed me off soooo much. I remember when it was airing that I would always shit on her so much and repost hate videos about her. I do have to admit that Sun Qian Yu is really cute though.
I said it before and I'll say it again, this series is super nostalgic to me. With the main reason that the friendship is sooo adorable. I think the shots and everything were also meant to be nostalgic because even when watching this the first time, it just made me feel a certain way. The music adds to that feeling because I would overly play somewhere in your eyes and "肆意生花" (Blooming Freely) in summer 2025. I really wonder how this show will feel in like 5-10 years. I really hope that by then, the actors will have the ability to meet again.
I'm gonna be sharing my opinion here but in my opinion Chi Cheng is not that big of a red flag as some people portray he is. I think him cheating on Yue Yue is not a good thing but at the same time Yue Yue does choose to be blind. She is well aware of Chi Cheng's actual feelings and, maybe I missed the scene, but Chi Cheng never declared actually having feelings for her. Also, girl herself is an annoying red flag as well and the way she treated Wu Suo Wei is so unfair. The tension between Wang Shuo, Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu was INSANE and I swear the energy came off of my computer because bro. I actually don't like the fact that Wang Shuo caused so much of misunderstandings between both Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei and meanwhile Chi Cheng was also hiding Wu's mom in law dying and struggling with cancer. But at the same time, Wang Shuo has a mental illness and I love how Wu Suo Wei let him be most of the time.
I actually noticed in the back in that sitting room, that there's on this random wheel ABO written and I wonder if that was just a n coincidence or actually because ABO desire aired around the same time. Anyways, I really love this series with all my heart and it is and will stay my comfort series. I really wanna rewatch It each year to see how I feel about it because the nostalgia is soooo weird.
Old review: I personally love bl c-drama's, but sadly, most of the Bl once are heavily censored, idols can't meet each other, have to be discontinued or in the worst cases, the idols can't act anymore. For me Chinese is really comforting to hear and it makes me feel safe. When I started watching this series, I was honestly afraid that it was gonna be discontinued or censored. But luckily, only the ending did, as I heard... I'm not sure.
Anyways I love the whole story, the music and especially Zi yu's acting. My favourite animals are snakes, through watching the series I loved seeing the snakes all the time. I don't know why, but this has really become my comfort series. In real life, I see references everywhere, It's like I think about it 24/7.
Aside from that, I'm a huge fan of Zi yu, I just love him. I loved his acting.. but his music... AMAZING. I'm happy this series made him more popular, and the thing is, not only his most popular songs are good, he has a huge amount of good underrated songs, deffo check that out!

Wayyy beter than I expected.
I honestly didn't expect a lot from this series. I'm not sure why but I automatically assumed it wouldn't be amazing but all the reviews really proved my first impression wrong so I ended up watching it anyways. I am honestly surprised at how good it is!! I think that the representation is amazing. The plot is original and the characters make you really attached to them. Before you watch this a trigger warning is theThe acting was amazing in this series. Both Seto Toshiki and Nakata Keisuke are talented!! I already knew Seto Toshiki and I think he is an amazing actor in each BL that I've seen him play in. As for Keisuke, I didn't know him before but he really made me hate Kusakabe Ritsu during this whole show, and I think it's a good thing when actors make you hate a character. The side characters were amazing as well and I'm sooo happy they had Idegami Baku casted!! I'm not sure about their pronouns but from what I've read it seems to be just he/him. I love how he played a character that was struggling with their gender and during the last weeks finally got the confidence to wear clothes they feel comfortable in. Tomimoto Sousho looked sooo young and he was apparently 20/21 when they filmed??? That's insane.
I got a huge attachment to the side characters. For most of the series they felt like a sort of family. Like Masumi and Ritsu adopted Yuma and then Meguru just being there. Honestly I would've put her as Yuma's crush if they didn't make it feel so weird through the show. I'm not complaining about their feelings or Meguru being trans girl/crossdresser, but rather by the way they portrayed the teenager but that is just my viewpoint as a teenager myself. I don't like how the series made him seem more stupid and stuff. Masumi was 100% correct to Ritsu when they were having an argument about the boy. Why did fucking Ritsu give a child PILLS to KHS?? Ritsu really pissed me off. Aside from Ritsu being an absolute dick, I do really like the found family vibes it had.
The plot is reallyyy original. It would've been a bit nicer if they slightly took more effort to make it look real. I do really love the message behind it though. Like spending your last week on earth and who you would pick. I think that if it wasn't their last week that they would've never ended up together. I wonder if Masumi would regret choosing to spent time with Ritsu in his last week. Ritsu is an absolute asshole. He almost killed a younger person, cheated and totally played Masumi. He was sooo toxic but from Masumi's point of view I get why he came back to him. I know many people don't understand I but I feel like Masumi just wants to have someone by his side who he feels familiarity with.
Overall this was amazing, I am extremely surprised by the quality and the amazing story. I wouldn't call this very romantic though... May this type of love never find me.
