As they grow closer, Li Xing slowly falls in love with him, but his mother´s manipulations make her keep her distance. Yet Lou Chong's persistence, sincerity, kindness and protection helped her overcome her fear and openly become his girlfriend. That is until her grandma dies and she discovers that her father once sacrificed his life to save Lou Chong. She then brakes up with him and goes abroad. Eight years later, they reunite, finally reconcile their differences and finally be together.
